“Excellent dinner and drinks.“
“Really love it. Excellent venue. Intimate. Not a bad seat from balcony to the front rows. Go see a musician there. Any musician. If you enjoy the arts you will not be disappointed. Fun drinks. Good food too. Plenty of time to eat ahead with doors open early. Hard to get a table but make friends or stand or wait and eventually room opens up before the show. Food comes out very fast to support getting to your seats. Small venues like this the artists also come out to shake hands and say hi to everyone. It's a special place and the performance shows and guests know it too. Enjoy.“

“Nectar is nestled in a little office park area along with J&J Pizza and a few other little food and drink vendors. The staff is always kind and welcoming, even when they are busy. The drinks are well made and tasty. Seating can get a little cramped when there are a lot of people, but other than that, it's a great local place to grab drinks after work or on the weekends. Try to catch some of the live music every Saturday.“

“Outstanding restaurant & bar inside the Embassy Suites. First off, their breakfast offering is beyond reproach. Great entrees & service. The dinners are also fantastic. It's a great feeling to have a restaurant in your hotel where you can have a great meal, a few drinks & zero worries. Their breakfast is from 6 am - 9 am on weekdays & 7 am - 10 am on the weekends. They also offer an evening social hour. If you're a guest of Embassy Suites their room service hours are 11 am to 11 pm, everyday including weekends.“

“Very satisfied on my first visit to Ellie Bird. We came for Brunch for my wife’s birthday. The staff were all very attentive and many wished her a happy birthday as they welcomed us in, which often gets overlooked at other restaurants, but it made her morning feel so much more special. It may seem like a small notion, but it was a touching detail to our initial visit. The brunch menu is small but packed with flavors and meaningful dishes. We love this and wish we could try it all. We decided to start with the PB&J French toast as a shared app. It’s an entree item, but upon hearing how much the owner loves this item we had to try it out. We also ordered the Pineapple Bun sliders and Tornado omelette. For us the trio of entrees was the perfect blend of savory, sweet, and salty, hitting all the right notes. Also highly recommend the Ellie Bird Latte. Glad we came, we will be back for more!“

“We came here on a Friday, and it wasn’t that busy yet our server cash was the most valuable part of our time here, she was so kind and helped us with all the questions we had. She made this one of my favorite dmv experiences and I will definitely be coming back and telling EVERYONE about this place“

“Born and raised in Japan, I am pretty judgmental when it comes to any establishments claiming to be “Japanese.”
I had miso soup ($4), Toro Bowl ($28) and hot tea ($3).
Toro Bowl: I was not impressed, but definitely this dish was not disgusting like some other fake Japanese restaurants serve. Ikura wasn’t the freshest, and the three sheets of nori (sea weeds) were stale (thus making it chewy rather than crispy) and tasted very cheep. Overall it was “Okay”
Miso soup: I was pleasantly surprised with how they have used decent amount of dashi in their soup (like how they do it in Japan), giving it an authentic twist. The soup was flavorful and I enjoyed it.
Tea: this was another pleasant surprise to receive what it mocked as Genmai-cha (tea with roasted rice bits in it). Well done.
From what you get in DMV area, I’d give a 4 stars or even 4.5 stars. As an overall “Japanese” izakaya, I’d put this in 3 stars range.“

“My wife and I love Indian food. We go to a place, try it, and decide whether to come back. Well, we have a new favorite.
Lunch last week at TriState was sublime. We had a biryani, and I still cannot quite find the words to describe the rice. It was tender and a tiny bit chewy, in a great way. It was steamy but light and fluffy. The meat was perfect and mixed through the dish. So, yes, we will return. I have my eye on daal makhani, that spicy buttery bean and lentils dish. Can't wait to try their version. Our friend had peppery chicken--so good! Suggest you go with friends and share so you can try more stuff at the table.“
