“The sushi here was absolutely amazing, I went around night and ordered chefs island and everything was prepared so well and tasted so fresh and well, Scarlett was our server and she did such an amazing job even with the rush, the interior was so clean and decorated with so much details and I can definitely tell they put a lot of effort into the service, environment, and especially the food and its quality, I will definitely be coming back soon.“

“It was my first time at this restaurant. I wanted to eat Omakase style , but they did not have that. But instead they had a 4 course meal plus deserts and I was super impressed with the food. The sushi was fresh and the chef did an outstanding job with the sushis. I love the flavors and the fact that this is truly a gourmet sushi experience. The sushis had the right amount of rice ( not too much) and the sushi rice was seasoned to perfection. I ordered the miso soup and although it was not the usual flavor for me , it was still delicious and not as heavy on the soybean paste. You should rally try it. By the way our waiter Franz did a fantastic job serving us.“

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, inviting, and super fun — perfect for both family gatherings and catching up with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, walking us through the menu and making sure we had everything we needed.
The shabu shabu was top-notch — fresh ingredients, high-quality meats, and rich, flavorful broths. They had a great selection of veggies, sauces, and dipping options that let everyone at the table customize their meal just the way they liked it. We especially loved the wagyu and the spicy miso broth — so good!
The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and had a great energy without being too loud. Plenty of space for groups, and the table setup made it really easy to enjoy the cooking experience together.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy, interactive dining experience that brings people together!“

“Had a great time dining at Kumo Sushi! I tried the ramen and it was comforting, flavorful, and well-prepared — a really satisfying bowl. But the real star here is the sushi — absolutely fantastic! Fresh, well-crafted, and full of flavor.

“I chose Akeno Sushi to celebrate my bachelorette weekend, and I couldn’t have made a better choice! It’s my absolute favorite restaurant in DC, and this experience just confirmed why it’s one of my top spots. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely thrilled to help us celebrate. Nadia, in particular, was a joy to work with and supported me every step of the way in planning. The food was phenomenal, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The drinks were equally impressive, featuring thoughtful details like fresh flowers that added a special touch to the celebration. “We love Beijing Tokyo for both dine-in and delivery. The food is always fresh, tastes great, and service is quick and friendly. My 5 y/o loves the Wonton Soup and Fried Rice, and I love the Chef's Special Creamy Shrimp and Beef Sticks. I've never had anything bad here in the two year's we've been eating here or ordering delivery. The food is always hot and the delivery drivers are always very friendly.
Parking: It's in a shopping center, so there's plenty of free parking.
Kid-friendliness: I bring my kids here and they are always welcome. There are always family dining in here and the staff is friendly towards children.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant seems to be wheelchair friendly.“

“This is in an Asian grocery store but don't be discouraged. The sushi is quite good! I ordered the Yellowtail and Salmon Belly sushi as well as the Dragon Roll for pickup. Sushi was ready in 15 minutes during lunch time. Can't complain.“

“Came for dessert after dinner at the plaza next door, and we got the Red Bean Bingsoo. Love that they use shaved milk, and not shaved ice 🥹 it is on the pricier end for the amount of bingsoo you get (the V-shaped bowl is slightly deceptive), but every bite was worth it.
Saw that there was a self-serve ramen bar, so I’d definitely come back here with friends next time!“

“I visited a take-out Japanese restaurant at the H-Mart Fairfax Food Court with modest expectations regarding the quality of the food. Surprisingly, the Chirashi Salad Bowl and the Sashimi Combo were fresh and flavorful. Initially, I thought the Chirashi Bowl might be too small for one person, but it was just the right portion. However, considering its price, I found the Sashimi Combo to be relatively small. For those who prefer to dine in, there is a shared seating area in the center of the food court accessible to all the eateries.“

“I’ve been to this place almost 100 times and it’s always going to be my favorite sushi place. The prices are so customer friendly and student friendly for the high quality and fresh sushi you get at Yoko, and it’s made right in front of you. The customer service is awesome. Highly recommend!“
