“Surf Rider recommended to us by a friend. We were so pleased. The Seafood so fresh and amazing. We had oysters and tuna bites for an appetizer and brought home flounder plate. Huge piece of flounder cooked perfectly. Our server, Brandi, took great care of us. She was so busy and yet so attentive to us. Can't wait to go back. Also beautiful view!”

“By far the best Chinese food in Poquoson. This is your typical no frills Chinese restaurant, not really a place to sit down but great for some reasonably priced takeout. I'm pretty set in my menu selections, so I recommend the fried rice and lo mein. I especially love the chicken fried rice, it's just fantastic. Overall, a good joint with good flavor and value.”

“The lady at the first window didn’t give us the correct change, my boyfriend very kindly went back and explained to her the mistake, in which she responded by muttering “God forbid I don’t give you a dollar” then at the 2nd window the male threw both of our straws into the car window saying “Kobe” after throwing the first straw onto the floor then saying “Shaq” as he threw the second onto the floor of the car. I have no idea what this means or why he threw the straws at us or said this. And I don’t know why she was so rude about us kindly asking for our correct change. Horrible experience.”

“The food was good, I fasted all day because they had a three course menu for their restaurant week and our server was great. We were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant is so small and cozy so it’s great for a date, however the only thing that went wrong was there was a table full of a bunch of rowdy, loud people. I know it’s not the restaurants fault, but I wish they would tell them to sthu because wow I couldn’t even hear my friends sitting directly across from me. They were soo freaking loud, I head all of their business. There was one lady with a giant mouth who just had the loudest, most obnoxious laugh. I feel like she ruptured my right ear drum.”

“We live an hour away and still only go to Frank's Monster Munchies Cantina when we want carne asada. We have tried numerous places in VA for the last 6yrs trying to find the same taste as back home (Cali) and was constantly disappointed till we tried Franks. y'all are the only place that delivers that same quality and taste we were missing/looking for. The atmosphere is one of a kind and always top notch service and respect.”
