“We’ve eaten here about 5 times now I think and I specifically waited to make my review until we had been a few times at least. The consistency of this place is on point, which is amazing because we’ve been trying to find a good take out place for a while now where we knew it would be good every time and this place has got it going on. Their food is amazing. This is the only place we go for Chinese food now and we even drive 40 minutes to get here it’s that good. We personally love the beef lo mein, beef and broccoli and the sesame chicken.“

Everyone at work raves about this restaurant, so I decided to give them another chance and ordered shrimp egg foo young when I got off of work. And I am glad that I did, because it was very good. “Been eating from them since 2021 very sweet couple I chose this restaurant Because when I first moved to Portsmouth in 2021 I had nothing in my apartment so I ordered it from them, but they didn’t put any utensils in the bag you have to request it and when I opened my door, her husband looked in and saw I had nothing in my apartment and he was nice enough to go back to the restaurant and get me utensils so I could eat they open at 11 but if they see my Missed call they call me back asap;-)and they have taken my order and stayed and waited for me because i made a last minute order like 5 min before closing and I walked 2.5 miles to pick it up oh if you like shrimp fried rice tell them make it dark well done add peas and carrots and thank me later“

To be honest, the inside didn’t do much better—dated décor, cluttered counter, and that “we’ve been here forever” vibe that can go either way.

My wife took one look and wanted to turn around. But I noticed cars out front. And in my experience, cars usually mean good food. So I decided to give it a shot.

“Food was delicious! 😋 We ordered Hibachi chicken and shrimp with double veggies and Hibachi Steak and shrimp with noodles and rice. First time there, definitely not the last. Workers were patient in answering our questions. Took 1 star off of atmosphere since the tables were sticky although I think it was from the type of cleaners used and not from being dirty. Only a couple tables so definitely not for a large group unless ordering takeout.“
