“My friend and I visited Hokkaido Sushi on a Monday evening and found the restaurant bustling with several occupied tables. However, we were seated promptly upon arrival, which was a plus. The waitress was attentive right from the start. We explored the all-you-can-eat menu, starting with miso soup, a refreshing house salad with ginger dressing, shrimp sunomono, and cucumber salad. Moving on to rolls, I enjoyed a variety including a tuna roll, spicy California roll, rainbow roll, dragon roll, and shrimp roll. Each dish arrived fairly quickly, and the portions were satisfying, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients. The ambiance was conducive to conversation despite other diners around us, maintaining a quieter, intimate atmosphere. The only minor setback was waiting a bit for the check, but overall, the experience was delightful. I'm looking forward to returning for more delicious sushi soon.“
“We were a party of 6. Food was fantastic, portions were standard and service was outstanding. Considering how much did was ordered, it came to the table in a timely fashion. I was able to request my rolls be gluten free and they even had gluten free soy sauce.Dietary restrictions: The server had knowledge about gluten free preparation and even offered gluten free soy sauce. I have Celiac disease and had no reactions.“

“This is the best of the best in Hampton Roads, and this location too. I like a bit of cream cheese so I get the Ocean roll and typically add some Gyoza plus clear soup. The service here is superb and occasionally, they even offer some free rolls with a larger order. They give little treats of chocolate or mints at the end as well. My family highly recommends this spot!Parking: There is usually always a space open and the lot is large. Multiple businesses share the lot.“

I've been to just about every sushi buffet in the 757 area and nothing will top this one. Our server was so incredibly friendly, the food portions were so generous, and everything was so well made with quality ingredients. “I have lived in Japan and it has been so hard to find authentic Japanese food but look no further for this place is as real as it gets. I was so nostalgic during dinner, they bring out miso soup and salad as a complimentary starter. In order the Mt Fuji roll which was divine! I also ordered the tempura dinner and it was delicious! “For lunch I decided to try Daikichi Sushi Bistro. This was my first visit. I ordered on a weekday and placed my ordered around 11:30 AM. It took about 25-30 mins for my food to be ready. I expected it to take about this timeframe so I called in advance. The sushi was good however the salmon sashimi was smaller than I had at other sushi places. In fact, I almost thought they forgot to put it in my to go box. The to-go order was packaged nicely and the staff was friendly. My recommendation is to definitely order in advance if you're in a hurry. However, if you're willing to withstand the wait, you can dine in.“
“On the recommendation of a friend who goes here regularly...YUM! We all had cucumber salad...super fresh and super huge portion. Definitely enough to split! Yellowtail Tartare was not what I expected but absolutely delightful. We also had the Hallloween roll, the Fire Dragon Roll and the seared tuna dinner. All were wonderful. Having eaten sushi all over the country in my travels, this place was definitely one of the best, and very reasonably priced as well. It doesn't look like much from the outside but beautiful and cozy on the inside. Hope to be back in the area!“

“It was my first time here. Luckily my party was the only ones in the room which was nice. I ordered the hibachi shrimp, and the dish was good. I was mad that i only got 4 pieces of shrimp. Of all the hibachi places I've been I given a small quantity of meat. My dish was all rice. I was not happy about that. The soup was good. I decided to try something new fried shrimp shumai I enjoyed that.“
“Great food and service I had their Osaka bao buns to start and the pork was so crispy and delicious perfect start to the meal, then I followed up with a spicy pork ramen and chesapeake roll, the only down side was it didn't taste really spicy at all but I added enough chili oil it wasn't a problem“
