“I don't understand some of these reviews. I go here so often and have never had a bad experience, bad food, bad service. I pay on-line, in store (with cash or card), absolutely no issues at all. I get told Thank you several times before leaving. 🤷♂️“

“I have been Getting Food from Here for 20 years and it's always good especially my favorite the Shrimp 🦐 And egg Rolls. I wish they Delivered. But I think Door Dash might pick up. Eating in not So great but Picking up never disappointed.“

“The steamed dumplings one of my favorite dumplings. You can tell it's a family recipe and their custom dumpling sauce is addictive.
Even though I moved away from the restaurant a while ago. I'll order two sets of dumplings for myself and a third one to play distraction so no one knows I have two sets of secret dumplings to keep all to myself.
They still taste just as amazing from when I tried them in 2014 to present day“

“We have been eating there for 30 plus years and the food is delicious. Great service and the food is served hot . Our favorite place to go. I do like the old atmosphere better. Don't care for the streamline updates. I guess we were used to the other decor. Highly recommended.“

“When I want Chinese food this is my go to spot. They don't use those itty bitty salad shrimp in their shrimp fried rice and the food is always tasty and never too dry or too greasy. I got a platter of dumplings half fried, half steamed and a platter of their vegetable spring rolls and it was a hit with my guests. People were surprised when I told them where I got them.“

“Fried rice is delicious. Crab Rangoons are amazing too. They load it up with crab meat and not a lot of places do that anymore. I got the garlic chicken which is spicy, but again, not a lot of places make it spicy enough. They did make it spicy! And it was delicious! Definitely coming back and getting more.“

I've tried a couple other spots in the area for lunch breaks. My coworkers and I keep coming back to China Star in Petersburg. Some of the best Chinese food we've had in years. ????“

“If you're thinking about coming here on Sunday, get ready to throw elbows with the Episcopalians around 1230. I was seated at 1145. I was the only person in the house, but boy, did it fill up fast. Had the luncheon special Kung Pao chicken. Filling and full of flavor. Wasn't that spicy, so be adventurous and try it. Lunch comes with soup or egg roll / steamed or fried rice.“

“So glad I didn’t judge the book by the cover.
When driving through for a work trip, I needed somewhere to stop for lunch. Looked up hibachi places and thought about skipping this one, but give it a shot hoping the food was really good. I was not let down.
Interior is as you’d expect.
Service was frequently and fast.
Did was plenty and plenty good.
All in all, I’d say this is a goldilocks kind of spot - Just Right.
Parking: Parking was easy and free.“

“In love with all this food.
I ordered fried rice, chicken broccoli, orange chicken, dumplings, wonton soup.
God bless their hand, that’s food was glorious. If you are visiting Petersburg Va you got it go to this Chinese restaurant, you won’t regret. Believe me!

“Just like every other Chinese restaurant out there. They've got a cooler in the lobby. Were the drinks? Are there's no soda fountain? They give you every order and a bag as if it's to go even though you're told Em you're eating there.“
