The food was amazing (Lomo Saltado and Pollo Causa) and the atmosphere is cozy. We were able to sit, eat and talk without feeling rushed. “The experience was great from the start, largely due to the hostess Dulce! I made a reservation for a surprise birthday and she made sure that the entire thing went off without a hitch! She took the time to make sure all our needs were met and she even followed up with afterwards to ensure the experience was top notch! Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, this type of personalized experience is a lost art. The food was great and service was quick and thorough! My only critique would be their salad bar/appetizer station didn’t have anything really memorable or outstanding; however, I was mostly there for the meat selection anyway so that did not bother me one bit!”

“I've been going to the Silver Diner in Reston for over 15 years. Food is always good, new items added to menu seasonally, staff are real folks who are easy to talk with and joke with as well. You get a sense of "family" when you are there as staff and customers interact. Servers are fun people and make your day. Today was Rubia's day and she is special. Come out and see for yourself.”

“I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.”

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us”

“Our meal, service and attention to detail were truly 5 stars.

Jack provided excellent service, a dining room manager came to our table quite often to make sure we were okay and a nice lady employee stopped by to speak to us because our 1 year son got her attention. She said he was so cute and she told us of her 3 year old child. It was nice talking to her.

Jack had our Caesar salad and the kids chicken split in the kitchen and brought out the Caesar salad in separate bowls for my wife and I and brought out the kids chicken on separate plates for our daughters. Our daughters loved the chicken,n French fries and ketchup and ate it all. The Caesar salad was amazing. Jack asked could he bring out the kids chicken plates early, we said yes, and he brought their plates early as requested.

I had blackened salmon and shrimp, gave the shrimp to my wife and she ate it up. My wife ordered New York strip steak, baked potato, sweet potato casserole and brussel sprouts. She ate what she could and boxed up the remaining so we could take it home and eat later for leftovers. She enjoyed the meal.

Jack had ice cream and chocolate syrup brought out for our daughters. They enjoyed it.

Bathroom was nice as well.

Scheduled reservation via Google and open table. Used an email coupon and Google Pay to pay the bill.

“I ve been a Chef for over 20 years at places like Fairmont and Lansdowne and decided to take my wife and daughter there to celebrate my daughter’s Birthday. I must say everything was perfect. We were greeted with a friendly smile the second we walked in. Our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and suggested some of the favorites and she did not disappoint, the loaded baked potato soup was delicious very well balanced flavors, the Cobb lettuce wraps were a great way to start the dinner experience, my wife loved the Caesar salad. When it came to entrees the fish tacos were seasoned perfectly and well balanced, my steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and my daughter still thinks that’s the best burger. The S’mores had all three of us fighting for the last bite. We are really looking forward to our next meal there. So if you haven’t been there you need to go.”

“This place is great! We have lived in the area for 5 years and ordered take out a bunch of times, but this was the first time we actually sat inside. The service was excellent, really friendly attentive staff. Mark was our server and he was superb. We ordered cocktails, soup and salad to start. Then the sea bass and butternut squash pasta and some wine for our main. All excellent! Our 2 year old came with us and they even gave her fresh bread to take home because she loved it so much. We will probably be regulars there now!”

“First time seeing this place, but I knew what I wanted immediately. Loaded fresh birria tacos, the most satisfying in northern Virginia. Ask for hot sauce upgrades! I didn't dip these because they seem perfect as served. Get some tres leches to soothe the sizzle.”

“In general, the food is good, always made right, and everyone is polite. Couldn't ask for anything else from a pizza joint.

Things do seem a bit overpriced though, and I wouldn't order from there if it weren't for their coupons.”

“Starbucks is always a reliable stop, and I have a few favorites I order regularly—iced Matcha Latte and the iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso never disappoint. This season, I’ve really been enjoying their Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, both perfectly cozy and flavorful.
The only downside is that they no longer have the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato on the menu. It was such a great drink, and I know many people miss it. Hopefully Starbucks will bring it back one day. Until then, their seasonal lineup still makes it worth the visit.”

“My husband worked at a Baskin Robbin’s as a teen in San Joaquin Valley in California decades ago. He loves coming to this store in Reston, it brings back fond memories of ice cream on a hot summer day. This store is small but has a nice variety and the servers are always helpful.”

“Great smoothies overall. The ABC juice with ginger is consistently good, and their nuts and protein (heavy on peanut butter) and Pina Koolada smoothies are tasty. The pea protein tastes bad—it ruined the Cookie Monster smoothie.

Service is hit or miss. They charge $0.50 extra for no ice, which is fine. However, smoothie consistency varies depending on who makes it—sometimes thick and filling, other times too thin and not filling the cup, like today, which was really disappointing.”
