“Zack bar manager is professional, great .Hope to see him again soon”
“Jackson’s Mighty Fine Food & Lucky Lounge (BCI: 86) 11927 Democracy Dr, Reston, VA Step into Jackson’s and you’re stepping into a space that bridges eras - a Reston mainstay that blends classic Americana with a contemporary culinary pulse. The curved brick façade, glowing neon, terrazzo floors, and murals set a retro-modern stage that feels both familiar and fresh. The menu is as versatile as the atmosphere. The Blue Crab & Shrimp Fritters arrive golden and crisp, with a lobster-ginger sauce that balances sweet and tang. Deviled Eggs topped with pecans and sugar-cured bacon hit nostalgic notes with a twist. For mains, the Short Smoked Salmon Filet was balanced and flavorful, while the 5 Star Reserve Rib Eye stands out as the indulgent showpiece - perfectly grilled and paired with Brussels sprouts, bacon, and spiced pecans. Gluten-sensitive diners aren’t sidelined here, with Ozzie’s Brick Chicken and even flourless desserts on a dedicated menu. Save room for dessert: the Flourless Chocolate Waffle with Ice Cream was rich yet not overwhelming, and the Lemon Marshmallow Meringue Pie playful and bright. Cocktails, like the Jackson’s Mule, are well-crafted and fairly priced. Service was attentive and well-paced even in a bustling room, though weekends bring a lively (and loud) crowd. Reservations are smart for dinner; weekday lunches are easier. My only miss: the French Dip. Beautifully presented but mine arrived closer to raw than medium rare, with a lukewarm au jus. For $30, I expected more precision. That said, many online reviewers rave about it. So consider it a hit-or-miss item depending on your taste for ultra-rare beef. Whether it’s a business lunch, a date night, or a family dinner, Jackson’s delivers. A broad menu, strong service, and lively atmosphere keep it at the center of Reston dining. BCI: 86 reflects weighted and normalized ratings across multiple platforms, showing that Jackson’s consistently delivers strong experiences. The Brodbeck Confidence Index (BCI) is a proprietary algorithm that blends multi-platform ratings into a single, normalized score to give diners a clearer picture of overall consensus.”
“This is our second Thanksgiving dining here. It is such a lovely place and the food and staff are wonderful! Everything is so fresh and flavorful. A truly enjoyable dining experience. Everyone feels like family here, truly! <3”
“We stumbled across the lantern house today in a neighborhood that we didn’t even know existed. Boy was it a treat! The decor is stylish, feminine, and very inviting. The bartender was excellent, filled with recommendations. They had so many fancy cocktails in the menu was divine. We really enjoyed our brunch and can’t wait to return!”

“Huge shoutout to Tyreke and Maya at the DC Wharf location. Both of them recommended the glazed pork belly taco and bowl. Let me just say they deserve a promotion! The pork belly was the best tasting food I’ve ever had. Holy cow thank you both of you for that recommendation. Also, an additional shoutout to Tyreke for the churro selection for us off the dessert menu. I mean this has been the best meal we have had since being in DC! Thanks again for the recommendations and hope to see you in Indiana when you open one in our town 👊🏻👊🏻”
“I've been going to the Silver Diner in Reston for over 15 years. Food is always good, new items added to menu seasonally, staff are real folks who are easy to talk with and joke with as well. You get a sense of "family" when you are there as staff and customers interact. Servers are fun people and make your day. Today was Rubia's day and she is special. Come out and see for yourself.”
“I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.”
“This is the classic RTC spot. A go-to for afterschool treats every year starting second grade. The cardamom flavor rocks… There’s almost no reason to go to RTC anymore post-covid and paid parking, but Pitango has stuck around, outlasting Red Velvet, Busara, Big Bowl, Mon Ami Gabi, and even Clyde’s… once it closes I may never return. It’s criminal what Boston Properties has done to Reston Town Center, which for me was more than the center of Reston, it was the center of the world, nay, the universe. Even Pitango’s long-time neighbor The Counter has disappeared. I fear RTC’s Pitango may not be long for this world, would like to return sometime soon. Vintage photos attached”
“We enjoyed our meal at Gregorio’s immensely. The meals were tasty and good portions. The cocktails were strong and right at the limit of reasonably priced. The tiramisu was also on point.”

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us”
“We made reservations, but they had overbooked and there was a wait. Once seated, the service was a little slow, but the food and ambiance was great. I would recommend this as a great place for food and drinks, but you will need to be a little patient with the service.”
““MyHome” is located in a quiet part of Reston with plenty of parking. It takes many visits to fully explore the menu, so start with your Thai favorites and go from there. Friendly staff. So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood, though it’s close to the toll road so easy to get to from further away.”
“My husband and myself popped into this gem of a place for a quick happy hour. Antonio served us the most delicious and chilled to perfection martinis that kept us talking about them for days. All of the appetizers we tried were exceptional, the baked feta was mouth watering. It may have been our first time but certainly will not be our last.”
“Excellent service from Jordan, he was so kind and cheerful and made our experience fantastic! Salmon teriyaki was very fresh, lunch deals were good and the ramen was splendid as well. Will be back soon- glad there’s a new sushi place here, it’s what we needed!!”

“Pupatella is a great spot for delicious food! Order the cannolis. The zesty lemon flavor with the creamy ricotta and salty pistachios was to die for! I’m ordering them to get delivered to my hotel for the second day in a row. The shells are yummy as well. Great place- good people- wonderful food. ☺️♥️”
“Coffee is AMAZING, staff is KIND, and vibes are HIGH! In my opinion, this shop has the best tasting coffee in the area. RTC doesn't have a coffee place that tastes even close in terms of quality - The coffee shops there are a bit overhyped. It is across the street from RTC, but most definitely worth the few minutes walk for much better quality coffee. Right next to the metro as well. This is my new go to coffee spot, I will DEF be back!
Side note: different owner now, so even if you've tried it before, try again. The security guard working at the adjacent building also said their steak and cheese is to die for!”
“I just finished an absolutely fantastic meal with my family and felt compelled to share our experience. This restaurant is a true hidden gem, delivering phenomenal food that caters to diverse tastes.
We started with the falafel, and they were perfect—crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside, easily some of the best I've had. The beef shawarma was equally impressive; the meat was tender, perfectly spiced, and served with delicious accompaniments.
What really surprised us, in the best way possible, was the Philly cheesesteak. It was authentic, loaded with thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and fresh ingredients. It might sound like an unusual item for the menu, but they absolutely nailed it!
The staff were welcoming, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was great for a family dinner. Whether you're craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine or a classic American sandwich done right, this place delivers on all fronts. We will definitely be back!”
“I'd been craving takoyaki for days, and suddenly decided to drive over late at night. Surprisingly, even though it was close to closing time, they still served me. The waitress, Emily, recommended some dishes, and we ordered them right away. She wasn't just beautiful and kind-hearted, she was practically a buddy! Apparently, she's only there on Fridays and weekends. There were only her and one other guy working at the front; everyone else was chatting. Everything was great, and she even recommended two drinks – such good value! She was so friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a worthwhile trip, and I'll definitely come back!”
“I have eaten here dozens of times including my birthday this year. The food and service have consistently been incredible! My family loves the atmosphere and friendly staff, and even my kiddos ask to stop by for shrimp pops. Definitely recommend Ariake!”
“I love the tapas. They have great Spanish menus and some vegan choices too! Must try: cauliflower and eggplant, and beets for vegans. Spanish: flan is so good, patatas bravas, salmon with kale, Espanola torta, beef empanada.”

“We loved our experience. Came for dinner with my husband and ordered several dishes. The chicken platter appetizer came out sizzling and delicious. We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian (sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizer). The Natu Kodi and Shrimp Curry entrees were both spicy oily and tomato-based with the perfect amount of seasoning… very rich in flavor. Enjoyed both of those dishes. My favorite entree was the paneer butter masala. Amazing sauce - similar to butter chicken sauce. I was eating the sauce with everything!! Also had an amazing Chicken Dum Biryani where the chicken was on the bottom of the rice. The garlic naan was phenomenal. Got to meet their chef Krishna who was super nice and explained some of the dishes to us. We were pleased with our meal and will be back to try out their buffet next!”
“My husband worked at a Baskin Robbin’s as a teen in San Joaquin Valley in California decades ago. He loves coming to this store in Reston, it brings back fond memories of ice cream on a hot summer day. This store is small but has a nice variety and the servers are always helpful.”

“Double cabernet burger is the best!!!! Cabernet smothered patties, white cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, worcestershire mayo, tomato, potato bun with crispy fingerling potatos on the side. #foodbuster #burgerkingthings #doyoubelieve I DO!!!!!”

“First time here, staff all greeted me and were very friendly. The restaurant was very clean but I will say the music was pretty loud. I got the noodles with the sesame garlic sauce and I wasn’t expecting too much but wow. I really enjoyed it. It was $12 with chicken and I will have plenty leftover for tomorrow’s lunch. I will be back.”
“I will say I walked in and it was like I was greeted like a part of the establishment, I’ve never been here before and asked the staff respectful what do we do! Joyfully “David” and “Sullay” guided me through the whole experience! Such great staff and great food! 5⭐️ All the way!! Check it out staff is great! “ key to all (help with a tip jar!””
“Big shout out to Mia! She's one of the managers at the Reston location and she was really helpful. I called to place a pickup order for a small get together I was hosting. She made helpful suggestions on what sauces were popular and the portion sizes that would best feed my group size. Mia was awesome and she earned this positive review! Also, the food was delish. :)”
“Starbucks is always a reliable stop, and I have a few favorites I order regularly—iced Matcha Latte and the iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso never disappoint. This season, I’ve really been enjoying their Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, both perfectly cozy and flavorful.
The only downside is that they no longer have the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato on the menu. It was such a great drink, and I know many people miss it. Hopefully Starbucks will bring it back one day. Until then, their seasonal lineup still makes it worth the visit.”
“Best place to hang out at Lake Anne, hands down. Great beer, super cozy atmosphere, nice view of the lake. With one of those choice pretzels and a pint I could sit here all day alone or with friends happy as a clam in mud.”
“My fiancé and I tried this place last night and we 10/10 recommended! Great staff & service. Food was amazing! We recommend the crab dip and pizza! Will come back again”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Service!
Simon Restaurant was fantastic — amazing food and truly five-star service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole evening perfect. Highly recommend!”

“I recommend this place for it's food choices, alternative non-alcohol yummy adult type drinks, awesome chefs and food service staff (everyone here was super nice and totally hospitable, especially Chris at the bar where I sat to eat), and last bit not least -the cleanliness and open design hides nothing. You can see the kitchen prep and the ambiance is lovely... bright and clean with clean HVAC! I love this place. My dinner was delicious and the black tea had lavender... delightful!”

“Absolutely thrilled to have them in our neighborhood. The natural lighting of the place is phenomenal and a great family enviroment. Now in regards to their pastries and food I’ve tried multiple Tous le Jous and let me tell you. This is
The most refined and better tasting in the DMV. Thank you for your attention to detail and emphasis on a great experience”
“Ate most of my ice cream before I remembered to take a photo because this is so wonderful. Stopped in from out of town with some friends. Art was so friendly and offered ice cream and sorbets free of allergens, dyes, and made with real, whole ingredients. I ordered a single scoop of Mango Sticky Rice ice cream (yeah, really... Yum) in a house made waffle cone. The first impression walking in was the warm smell of waffle cones. They're offered at a very fair price! My cone didn't leak at all because it was well folded at the tip.
Art worked quickly to get through our large party. Also, the bathrooms are very clean! Only customers are allowed to utilize this service. Overall very happy with this shop. Jubilee ice cream is a must stop for anybody, tourists and locals alike.”
“The staff was friendly and well trained. This is a new location in 2025. They encourage ordering at the kiosk or app, but they will help you. We used coupons, and they made sure we paid at the counter so we could use them. The fries and shakes were delicious and quick.”
