“We ordered up a storm here and left so happy.• japchae: perfect ratio of veggies, meat, and chewy potato noodles.• half soy garlic and half spicy wings- they came out piping hot, crispy, and flavorful• tteokbuki/spicy rice cakes: cheesy and deliciousWe appreciate the clean and fast-casual dining atmosphere where the food is the star. Highly recommend this location!“
“Best Asian fusion place around. My wife and I make it a priority to try Asian restaurants anywhere we travel.. especially Vietnamese cuisine. Alo has hands down the best Pho I’ve ever had, amazing Shrimp Pad Thai, even simple pork fried rice is great. Ingredients are fresh, food tastes amazing, staff super friendly and atmosphere inviting. Try it once, you’ll keep coming back.“
“Amazing place that serves a unique twist on asian cuisine! Laon is a great host and offers a warm atmosphere with her charm and personal touch in the interior decor. We came here for restaurant week and was served the best banh xeo i've ever had, including Vietnam.Highly recommended!!!!Parking: Lots of spots.“
“Came here with some friends and ordered the cheese katsu! The food looked like the photos but for me the food wasn't very filling. A few friends ordered the rosu katsu and mine was like half the amount as theirs. They all took home leftovers where I ate it all and wasn't full full. The service was not bad but we had to wait a little for our check. There is plenty of parking :)“
“These are the friendliest people in the food business. The food is good, served quickly and always with a smile, respect, and sometimes even a song. This has been a standard lunch spot for me ever since I started working in Tysons every day.“
“Delicious! I confess, I was unfamiliar with this cuisine, but I’m a new fan. We stuck to the appetizers (only because we wanted to make sure to save room for dessert). We tried each type of Samsa- fillings were generous and seasoned well. Cucumber salad (the sauce was so garlicky and good), and an array of spicy sticks. The puff tofu, baby bok choy, and beef sausage were our favorites, but we loved all we tried. I appreciated the level of heat in the oil. We each had a refreshing Doghap. I’m not normally a fan of yogurt drinks- they’re usually too rich. These were light and not overly sweet. We had chocolate baklava and Dolan cake for dessert and two pots of the aromatic Dolan Chay tea (do yourself a favor and order a pot), expertly pressed table side by our server. We appreciated the unhurried approach to service- we didn’t feel rushed and could sit and catch up. Book an early table (also appreciated that our server steered us out of the sunny section), because the room definitely filled up later. The menu has so many choices; we are excited to go back and try more dishes.Highly recommended! I am always amazed and grateful for all the diverse restaurants we have in Chantilly, and this one is a gem“
“Amazing food and hard working owner as well. Super friendly staff, food is always fresh and super tastey. The garlic fried rice and the Mac and cheese is so delicious. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a good meal! Great portions too for the price“
“Yu Noodles in Herndon is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get! I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the incredible flavors and quality of the dishes. The steamed shrimp dumplings were a standout for me, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. They were an absolute delight to eat the freshness of the shrimp combined with the delegate dumpling wrapper made for a truly memorable appetizer.Don't even get me started on the seafood noodle soup. It was out of this world. The broth was flavorful with hints of seafood essence that elevated the dish to a whole new level. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the generous portion of seafood made each bite a heavenly experience.Overall, Yu Noodles is a must visit for anyone in the Herndon area. Whether you're craving dumplings or noodle soup, this is the real deal. You won't be disappointed by the delicious offerings at this fantastic restaurant. I will definitely be back!“
“I really like it here, since moving from NY dow to VA I really miss NY deli's. Now this isn't a deli per se but they serve very good food here. My wife is addicted to their rice porridge otherwise known as jok. And I'm addicted to their lunch combinations. Every time I come in they're very nice to us and it shows that they really like having their customers give them feedback on their food. It's a really good mom and pop place where you can sit down and eat. I would recommend it to anyone who is nearby and wants to try some out of the ordinary/ordinary deli fare.“
“Unplanned dinner that turned out to be really yummy. Came in 30 mins before closing and still got seated. ?Had the chicken katsu curry. Beautiful presentation, and they have a condiment tray if you want extra of anything on your food. The interior was beautifully decorated as well. Will definitely come back and try other dishes!!“
“Sushi Yama has been my go-to sushi spot for quite some time now, especially since the decline of Sushi Yoshi a few years back. Their commitment to quality at reasonable prices has truly made them a staple in our town's dining scene. While Sushi Cho offers another alternative, I'll review that separately. One minor drawback has been the wait times for takeout orders, which used to be unrealistically long. However, I've noticed a significant improvement in this area recently, perhaps due to increased competition.Notably, Sushi Yama has recently introduced a new online ordering format, albeit with a nominal processing fee of a buck or two. While some may find this a minor inconvenience, I see it as a small price to pay for the convenience and efficiency it brings.Overall, Sushi Yama continues to impress with its consistent quality, reasonable prices, and efforts to enhance customer experience. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, you can count on Sushi Yama to deliver delicious sushi that satisfies every craving. It's definitely a must-visit spot in our town for any sushi enthusiast.“
“Treated my cousin to Sweet Ginger for his birthday and we were both amazed by the quality and quantity of food we received for the price paid. We made it easy for our patient and attentive waiter by ordering two Thai iced tea and the Bento Box A with beef teriyaki. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. Starting with the Thai iced tea; which was almost like a dessert. So smooth and sweet! It complimented the meal. The miso soup was comforting and had a balanced ratio of broth, tofu, greens, and green onion. The salad was fresh, crisp, and dressed with a rich and tasty peanut dressing. Of course, the highlight of our meal was the incredible bento boxes. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were my favorite. They were breaded to ideal crispiness and paired well with the soy dipping sauce. The vegetables were one big broccoli floret and large sliced carrot and zucchini medallions. The teriyaki steak was scrumptious, served on a bed of cabbage slaw with a generous amount of sauce. There was enough for me to dip other box components into, like the California rolls, tofu, and the Japanese dumpling. We dusted off everything. Not even the leftover salad dressing remained because we drank it all up! The whole experience was so much fun and we had a blast. Can't wait to go back. We left feeling satisfied and can add this to our list of happy memories!“
“MGK is a hidden gem tucked away in the southeast area of the shopping center. Definitely the go-to place for fresh kimbap. Service has always been exceptional for us. Thank you for your delicious food, generous portions, and varied selection MGK! Enjoy!!“
“We were here very recently and enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Very homely, fresh vibes with clean tables and decorative plants spread throughout. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. Curry was incredible, but will likely order spice level 2 next time as 3 was just slightly too hot (but not unbearable).Thai iced tea offered a sweet balance to the savory and spicy flavor from the food.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the authentic thai dishes!“
“We just came here for Valentine's Day for the first time tonight. The food was magnificent! We loved the Age Tofu as our appetizer. The orange sauce tasted really fresh that came with the tempura eggplant and veggies. The Hong Kong tofu was so yummy and the veggies were fresh. The Singapore street noodles were a great entree to split with our other two entrees. Very tasty spices used, and all of the dishes seemed flavors and ingredients seemed intentional and not simply thrown together. Recommend this place for anyone who loves cruelty-free, fresh food. We look forward to our next visit!Vegetarian options: Tons of amazing vegetarian and vegan options“
“This is a great place for hot pot. It's all you can eat, so you definitely don't feel as overwhelmed by the options. I really liked the beef tongue, flavor of the tilapia, and fish balls. Dumplings could have used a bit more flavor, and were a bit hard to cook. I also like that you can pick from 6 vegetables. Service was nice as they held onto one of my guest's credit card after they lost it.Overall, highly recommend.“
“HKTH is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. You order everything from 1 of 2 kiosks and your order is ready right away! There are 6 tables and plenty of seating! The two staff members that made my smoothie and dish were helpful in choosing the right sauce for me. I first had Chinese Spicy on the side, but it wasn't spicy at all. I was provided chili oil and spicy mayo, both of which were better options, but I'd probably get the dry spicy seasoning next time. The chicken was fried to perfection and stayed hot for a while! For smoothie, I enjoyed the Coffee Oreo Smoothie with Brown sugar boba, a first for me. It was DELICIOUS and I don't even remember drinking it until I was on my last gulp! I look forward to supporting this establishment in the future!“
“I really like the food here, especially the bulgogi and chicken teriyaki boxes. The complimentary sides you get with the box are quite refreshing, especially the kimchi, which I ended up finishing in one bite. The meats here are quite succulent, and I love how the juices drip onto the rice to create this popping, umami flavor. Green tea here was a nice refresher to satisfy my hunger.“
“The good was really good. The portions were enough. The place was very clean. I was always told that if they don't eat there, then it's not good. This place was good and very inviting. Sitting by the door wasn't ideal because it was cold!“
“This is tucked in the back corner of an Asian grocery store. The front of the food place is pretty simple and I didn't know what to expect. We ordered food and it took a bit to come out but it was worth the wait! I was trying to find a Filipino restaurant in the area cause I wanted some comfort food and this definitely hit the spot. I got the lechon kawali and it was perfection. Just the right amount of fat to meat ratio and the crunch it was spectacular. My husband got the ginataang with shrimp and the pork bbq and they were just as delicious! We finished the whole thing. Definitely recommend if you're looking for some simple but good Filipino food!“
“I recently came in and Leonard was my server. He was very attentive and made sure that all of my family’s needs were met. He didn’t hesitate to make adjustments to my meal when I asked and made sure it was to my liking. If you happen to stop by he is the server to mention!“
“Such a cute little modern spot. All the food was great and fresh. Fries, bao, popcorn chicken, and pork belly were all great. Good beer selection. Loved all the different beer glasses. Went in on a Sunday evening so it wasn’t very busy at all. Waiter checked on us consistently (sometimes that’s actually an issue when it’s slow, but not here!) will def be back to try the rest of the menu.Dietary restrictions: Popcorn chicken is gluten free. There are other options noted as gluten free too. Nice to have some options that aren’t boring or bad substitutes. Hard to find any sort of breaded chicken that’s gluten free. Bravo!“
“Authentic Chinese flavors! If you’re craving yummy rice noodles, Yanzi House has tons of great options. We tried the pork and mushroom and beef flank options. Both were tasty. I haven’t had thick rice noodles like these since living in China. Be sure to also get the beef burrito and calimari. This was all so good! We’ll be back!“
“I was looking for a location that carried more vegetables than red meats. This place was perfect and the staff was very helpful and patient. I did have the shrimp and vegetable tempura along with the avocado salad. They were plenty. Everything actually looked delectable.Vegetarian options: There were quite a few vegetarian options, including the delicious avocado salad that I had. Ginger dressing made it really delicious.“
“Really adorable and fun decor! I can only speak for the bubble tea which is great- not the food which I've yet to try. It's a little expensive but the drinks are worth it. My only complaint is that one cashier in this location was rude to me once, made a strange comment, although I think he left. Watch the customer service. Otherwise I'd totally recommend it and go back.“
“I go to this place pretty often, and always have great sushi! I like to get the selection of sashimi, but everything I've had is good, and always quickly prepared for pickup. Definitely recommend this small place, for pickup or dine-in“
“I have a love/hate relationship with this place. When it comes to events, everything is at the lobby once you walk in and it's filled with neon lights, a dimly lit bar full of many offerings of alcohol you can get, a few small sections for VIP for your friends, and usually a DJ playing their music. There's open karaoke as well but I don't know if people sing often in the lobby. So I have been here many times for my friends and even booked a room as well. Rooms are spacious and they do have pretty nice audio. But there is one thing that truly irks me every time I come here. So they have a touch screen where you can add your karaoke songs through YouTube or through their system but getting the videos to load is a pain. It's annoying to deal with because it skips to the next song in queue so if you are with a group of 5+ more people, it can be very stressful. The worst part is we asked the staff about it and they aren't really sure what to do about the connection. I mean they should really fix that because I'm sure it gets people upset. No one wants their song to be skipped. Aside from that, you can also hear the loudness from other rooms, I don't expect that to be an issue but it's noticeable on busy nights. If you do plan to go here, there's one thing I highly advise before going. Check their socials if they are hosting any event and call ahead to know about the room rates. The website shows their original flat rates for the room but in events, they raise the prices up. If you go in person, check the menu before deciding to put your money down. This place also adds gratuity to the bill so be prepared to drop down a lot. While I frequently come back here just to hang out with friends, karaoke is one of my favorite hobbies. Its never a good time when your song doesn't get played or you get charged way more than you should.“
“Love visiting this place from time to time. I prefer their sides to any other AYCE Korean BBQ place in the area. The proteins have always been great and pair well with a variety of sauces provided. The spicy rice cakes are back! Highly recommend fetting them. Folks with sound sensitivity should be aware that the atmosphere can be VERY loud at times. It doesn't bother me, but wanted to call that out.Service is generally prompt but sometimes it can be a touch inattentive. Usually it's very good. The value is exceptional if you plan on eating a great deal. Still a good value if you plan on a rypical dining experience. A little expensive if you eat only a small amount AND are a "picky" eater. We always bring out-of-town guests when possible, and it has never failed to be a hit!“
“The food is an amazing fusion as I have never seen. Every plate is very flavorful. The combinations are unexpected but pleasant. I love this place, have been there many times and recommend it. The atmosphere is also very nice. It has different ambiences where you can enjoy different vibes(bar & sitting down area).“
“This review is from 7 years ago on another Google account. I have been back more recently with family, but I don't usually take pics with them around. Forgive me LOLThis was a great surprise to find. I am so used to going to places in Ashburn. However, I was thoroughly pleased with the service and the food. Very delicious! Highly recommend!“
“I don't come to this area very often, however every now and then I have to do some work here. That said, the only reason I found this place was because I needed to stop by Lowes and I am glad I did! Not sure if it was just opening up for the day but this place is very clean!!! It also has a very relaxing atmosphere so I will definitely have to dine in next time. I got the chicken katsu which was great and surprisingly a really good amount of food for the price. Definitely beats going to a fast food joint. I look forward to stopping by again!“
“Haven't had seafood boil this good in a long time! The atmosphere was casual, chill, inviting. The service was phenomenal. We had Caitlin, she was very attentive and super sweet! The food was amazing, seafood was fresh, everything was flavorful. We got shrimp and clams in trill sauce hot. All the appetizers were delicious. We would definitely come back. Get the raw marinated crab! They have happy hour all day Monday & Tuesday. It's a must stop for us now every time we're in the area.“
“My family and I stopped by while traveling thru town. We ordered Bulgogi and Dak Kalgooksoo. Their Banchan were flavorful with the right balance of spice and heat. Entrée portions are generous. Our server was helpful and very nice. We were pretty happy to find this restaurant.“
“High quality ingredients, personable staff, a Buffalo Bills flag, and a heavy metal night. What's there not to love about this place? The seafood selection is astounding, with no shortage of Omega 3's after a meal here. Ample use of rice flour instead of wheat for those avoiding gluten. We had several shrimp dishes and the lamb as well, all punched some serious flavor.Dietary restrictions: The staff was happy to report back on ingredients for dietary restrictions. We had many dairy-free and gluten-free dishes.“
“Really good spot overall. In a sea of overpriced and overrated places this place stands out with quality food and a good price. The place itself isn’t extravagant and not everything on the menu will blow you away but there are defiantly some standouts and a place worth trying.“
“The Sichuan Legend Hotpot and more is new a management. They take care of their guests like family, Nicole our server is very sweet. The ambiance, food and service is wonderful. Their menu consists of hotpot and more. We tried the hotpot and loved it, will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu. Thank you and keep it up. ??“
“Food taste fresh. Fast and good service.Summer rolls are a little on the smaller side but still taste fresh. Seafood pho is delicious! You have the option to choose spice level in selected dishes. So far, the best Vietnamese coffee I had in a while. Meaning, it doesn’t taste like I’m chugging melted coffee ice cream. Would recommend to request for less ice. Will come back again to try other dishes for sure!“
“Conveniently located near Loews and Burlington in Fairfax, this Korean-style Chinese restaurant serves good Jjajangmyeon (Black bean noodles) and Tangsuyook (Fried pork with sweet sauce) that are generously proportioned. The decor is a bit old, but it is a good restaurant to visit when you crave these dishes.“
“Ordered online for pickup. Food was not ready as stated. Had to wait 15 additional minutes before food was ready. Staff member was nice but a young guy. Staff member checked the bag before giving me my food to go. Took the food to the office and realized that Bonchon forgot to include my kimchi that I ordered. I called back up to the restaurant to make it known and the young staff member answered. He didn't seem to care too much about forgetting to put my kimchi in the bag and he gave a half hearted "I'm sorry".“
“Every Friday night I order delivery Sushi from here and they are excellent chefs. The few times I have been there, they were welcoming and attentive. I've had most of their soups and sushi, which are normal portion sizes and well prepared. Make sure you use their delivery app on their site.“
“We ordered takeout from here twice, both times the food was really good. The chicken 65 fried rice is spot on. We also tried Singapore noodle, chicken manchurian, and vegan yellow curry, everything was well seasoned and full of flavors. The portion sizes are good for at least 4 servings. My only concern was few dishes were really greasy.Overall, I would recommend this place!“
“I've only eaten here once so far. The server was very helpful, he guided me through the menu and warned me of the size of many on the dishes (I was by myself). Many of the dishes are family style (one large portion). So bring a group to best enjoy this place. I tried the spicy fish skewers, which had 5 or 6 skewers, a large pot of broth and vegetables, and a bowl of rice. It was good and had the right amount of spiciness to it, but it's definitely a meal for 2 or 3 people. The atmosphere from the outside looked like they were closed. The windows are very dark. The inside is very nice and has a simply to it. They had a large TV display at the front of the restaurant playing what I believe is Korean pop music videos. I really liked it. They were interesting and had a great beat.“
“We’ve been ordering takeout since the restaurant was established and it’s definitely a go-to for Asian cuisine. Here’s what I recommend:Thai chicken soup*Chicken wontonChicken samosasMuglai parathaLollipop chickenWingsChicken chili onion*Fried rice“
“We visited here for the first time last Friday, and we'll definitely be going back again. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the amazing, creative cocktails prepared right in front of us. I highly recommend the smoked old fashioned, which is smooth and tasty. The food was equally as good and an amazingly creative fusion of cuisine. We had the oceanic bites, and loved them so much we ordered a second round. Can't' say enough good things about Eve's!“
