Wife ordered takeout. Two pasta dishes, Caesar, and a Margarita pizza. Pasta was boxed, cooked ok, sauce was nothing special. Caesar was fine, but nothing special. Probably better than many. The pizza has decent crust with huge chunks of not great tomato. Would not order again. The worst part is the price. $100 for the above, they added a 20% service charge above and beyond for $120. Twenty percent…for what? For boxing it? Decent food that is way, way, way, overpriced.

I have long enjoyed Azzurro restaurant, and friends recently gave me a gift card to celebrate the completion of my divorce. While the Pescatore was excellent, the service experience left us feeling "ripped off." The billing discrepancy was our main concern. After applying the gift card, the balance was $21, yet the server returned a receipt for $50. The restaurant is inviting and cozy. Victoria was excellent as was all the support staff. The warm bread served immediately upon being seated was outstanding. The Caprese salad I had was a generous portion and very tasty. The half Mista salad my husband ordered was delicious and ample as a side with his entree.
