“First off my Wife cannot eat anything with dairy and our Waiter had the cook put something together for her to eat??THANK YOU?? the dish not only looked like a painting but it was delicious.
I got the dish with the drizzle of dressing on it and a Corona Beer with lime.
From the pictures hopefully you can see we scoffed down the entire meal. Total Bill just $43 Bucks. Between the food quality and the ambiance of sitting outside along the water way it all just seemed too surreal. We were just visiting this Great State and actually walked back to our hotel feeling a little light footed and smiled at each other that we found a little diamond in the ruff in downtown Virginia. I didn't see anywhere to park. Perhaps park your car opposite the highway feed the meter and walk down.

I recommend an evening for Lunch or Dinner and of course tell them THE GURU sent you. Enjoy?

“OMG show out to this place ! I am in town visiting my brothers in law and we got here late at Friday around 11pm and we ordered food from Mayas restaurant at DoorDash. The food was still warm when we ate it. The flavor was amazing !! I loved the pancho villa burrito it was fantastic. My husband got the birria quesadilla and my brother in law got the steak torta. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend this place.“

“We catered a welcome dinner for our wedding for 90 guests through Jalapenos in Carytown. The event was at a local brewery. We ordered a wide variety of items including tortillas, fajitas, steak, chicken, rice, quesadillas, dip, and other items. All the food was extremely fresh and tasty, with great portions! It came right on time, and was set up perfectly! We received so many compliments on all the food, and people kept going back for seconds. “Frida's is small, but they maximize the space, and it's very comfortable. Food is extremely fresh, portions are generous, and prices are fair. The margarita was strong, and I appreciated feeling like I got my money's worth for it. The tortilla bowl they make for salads is far better than the tortilla bowls at many other Mexican restaurants - you want to eat the entire bowl in addition to your salad. I only have two minor complaints. One, the chips are a bit thicker than many Mexican restaurants. I prefer the thinner ones, but that's just a personal preference, and Frida's chips are still very good. Two, the fajitas are huge, but they only give you two tortillas and charge you for additional. I don't mind being charged for additional tortillas, but when they only give you two to start with, it stings a little. Even three would be great. But, this stuff is minor compared to how good everything was. This was our first visit to Frida's, and we will definitely be back!“

“Casa Grande is very consistent with their food tasting good. This location has been around probably since the 1980s and at one time was one of the only choices for Mexican food in the area. So we have a long history.

Parking: The place is on a corner location. Traffic can be tricky getting in and out. Some times the lot can be very full.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs getting in and out. There's an outdoor covered patio. Not sure if that is wheelchair accessible.“
