“My wife I stopped in Richmond during a recent trip to checkout the Riverwalk. We decided to have lunch before we got back on the road, so we had a very nice meal at Casa Barco. We enjoy Mexican cultural foods and were not disappointed by our decision. Our meal was excellent and Mandy our server was very attentive and provided excellent service. We loved the atmosphere and our overall experience. We will definitely stop back for another great meal.“

“I'm just here to add another 5 stars! Hands down probably the best Mexican I've had, either this or Chociloco in Scott's Addition. I got the Burrito Macho Esteban and it's spicy! Full of flavor and I will go back. The prices aren't bad to begin with but the huge portion size I got made it even better! I was referred here by three friends and today was the day. You'll never see the restaurant from the road and probably pass by it a million times and not notice. I feel bad for them, if they were in a more visible spot they would probably be slammed with business all the time. However, don't let this detour you, the restaurant itself is not difficult to access. I will be back!!“

“We catered a welcome dinner for our wedding for 90 guests through Jalapenos in Carytown. The event was at a local brewery. We ordered a wide variety of items including tortillas, fajitas, steak, chicken, rice, quesadillas, dip, and other items. All the food was extremely fresh and tasty, with great portions! It came right on time, and was set up perfectly! We received so many compliments on all the food, and people kept going back for seconds. Carlos and his team were such a pleasure to work with, and cared so much about the success of our event. We could not recommend them enough.“

“I want to give the manager Mr Jose a shout out for being a great manager who listens and who is very helpful. I accidentally ordered some food on my mobile app on Halloween day and called to speak to a manager to see how to go about getting my order canceled. Mr Jose answer the phone and had a better idea he told me to go inside the store speak to the manager and let them know that I've talked to him personally and see if they will help me get my order at the correct location in Chester. If it wasn't for Mr Jose's quick thinking and his wonderful customer service skills I don't think I would have been able to have qdoba's that night because I really did not want to ride all the way back to Richmond. Keep doing the great job that you do Mr Jose I want to tell you again I am so very thankful for your kindness.“

“Stopped here for lunch and ordered their chicken fajitas. First of all their prices are reasonable. Secondly, the fajitas were delicious. Flavorful and nicely seasoned. My daughter had the burrito with ground beef and this nice sauce came with it. I know it was good because she finished the whole thing!
I also had the lime margarita, that was good. If I had more time I would have ordered another one.

“Let me just by far the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had. I’ve been there 3xs now and the consistency is amazing. Over the summer was my first experience and they had a homemade watermelon drink that was out of this world. Each time I go I get the Birria tacos and the broth is made perfect. Also, the rice is served in the broth which is very tasteful. No complaints and I’ll definitely continue to dine here.“
