10 Best Steakhouses in Richmond

“On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

“This was probably my third time at this location and our waiter. Peter was awesome! We went very late on a Thursday night. We had less than an hour before the kitchen closed. He was super friendly and did not rush us at all. He even told us we could stay as long as we want it because they had a few other parties in there anyway lol. The food came out great and we enjoyed ourselves.“

The servers are always attentive, and the food well-prepared and served at the correct temperature: warm but not so hot as to burn one’s mouth. “Their service was wonderful. We did the ToGo service.This night we had a blooming onion burger with cheese and bacon fries along with a large blooming onion. Let me not leave out the steak mac & cheese which also was delicious. Thank you so much for a great service.“

“Food and Waiter service were excellent, the manager not so much. We were dining for my wife's birthday and she didn't receive her email with the birthday discount that she usually receives so we asked the waiter if there was anything that could be done he said he would ask and was sure there was something they could do. Well when the bill came the manager came over and said there was nothing he could do for her without the code from the email. We all know that's total bull crap and that he could absolutely do something for her if he wanted to, he just didn't want to do anything. We didn't make a scene we just paid our bill and tipped our waiter well. But that manager totally ruined our night with his unwillingness to help!!!“

“This was truly the best meal my sister and I have ever had. Every item that was brought out, we were blown away with. Our waiter was so nice and helpful. My lobster bisque had nice giant pieces of lobster in it, and the bread they made me to go with it, was beyond delicious. We also got the shrimp pasta, and the filet salad with added shrimp. And the key lime pie to finish.

Dietary restrictions: They were so helpful with my sisters dairy intolerance and made sure her meal was dairy free without us even asking“

“This was by far the best meal we had while in Richmond, and the best meal I've had in a very long time. I had the blue cheese steak with Au Gratin potatoes and my mom had the garlic butter sirloin with mashed potatoes and veggies. She had the bread pudding which she loved and I had the lemon cake which was divine!!!! This meal in my opinion was a great value for the price versus what we got. If I lived close this would be a regular spot for me.“

“Longhorn is my favorite steakhouse Periodt! I really enjoy the service every time I visit. My preferred order is the Outlaw Ribeye steak cooked medium rare, with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. The only reason I’m giving this review a 4 star is because my steak had a lot more fat than I expected. I will most definitely revisit and highly recommend“
