Cool place. Try the chalupas and gorditas. Spicy pork chalupa and chorizo gordita crunch are excellent. Great happy hour prices with $5 margaritas. Impressive selection of high end tequilas. Great service too.
Cool little spot. Amazing margaritas and only 5 bucks during their HH. Im doing meatless today so I opted for the Southwest Eggsrolls, they are filled with rice, beans and veggies...a bit underwhelming but served hot with a side of chipotle ranch sauce. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and the bartender was super cool!

Popped into The Annex for a beer but ended up enjoying the food so much, I felt compelled to write a Yelp review. Honestly, this is the best Mexican/Tex-Mex in Richmond. Chef Dave is super passionate about what he's doing and it shows. I tried the grilled shrimp chalupa. The flavors were insane and it was a super generous portion. My girl had the chorizo Gordita subbed with tofu--she said it was the best she's ever tasted. Seriously, give this spot a try. The food is incredible.
