I’ve gotten food from Toast twice now, both times I’ve ordered the same thing because it’s delicious, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich is awesome. You get all the flavor with a little less mess. This time I called to get the food delivered and I was told I was outside of the delivery zone, I then received a call 1 minute later being told they would deliver to me anyway. I am glad to see this place is still thriving, in spite of what COVID has done to many small businesses in the area. I am a former Richmonder, and have dined here before moving away in 2014. Toast was great then, and it is still great, now. On this particular visit, I ordered the B.E.L.T., which is a twist on the traditional B.L.T. This is one of my favorite casual restaurants. They have creative, hearty dishes that are reasonably priced. Service is always great and I like that they have daily specials. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because around February, they totally revamped the cocktail menu and literally everything was amazing.
