“This place gets it right. We’ve been here multiple times and the beer and food are always amazing. So glad to find something for everyone on the menu - burger and fries for one person, Mediterranean wrap and side salad for another. Even a fail is turned around. We had a disappointing experience during the Shamrock Festival - we obviously expected the huge crowds, but were not expecting over an hour wait for our simple sandwich order. I was especially bothered because I am certain it was known that the kitchen was not able to keep up, and I felt the decent thing would have been to disclose that in advance, especially since we had an elderly person with us. But everyone was nice and we never complained, and at the end of the meal, without us asking, we were given some cards for a free appetizer and BOGO pints. THAT is good service. And it’s brought us back two times just since then, with more visits in our future. Can’t wait for our next visit!“

“We had a great experience at the Barrel Chest! We showed up 30 minutes before closing and the staff was still very welcoming. The tasting experience was very cool and their selection of beer and wine is impressive. The two people working (12/6) were extremely friendly and gave us some local recommendations while we are in the area. Would definitely come back to the Barrel Chest and highly recommend to anyone visiting for a unique experience before dinner.“
