“I absolutely loved this place! Great selection of original hand crafted brews. You absolutely must have a flight (or share a couple of flights among friends) to experience the variety they have.
The barkeep was friendly and knowledgeable. The warehouse space had a lot of ambiance with hand painted murals on the walls.
My favorites from this visit oct 2025:
Bowman Nutella S'mores 10%
Imperial stout aged six months in bourbon barrels Graham cracker forward (hazelnut & pralines with toasted marshmallow). Bourbon mid pallet. Finish is soft cocoa that ends with a nice high gravity bite.
Blue Ridge Breakfast stout 6.5%
Milk stout aged on local breakfast blend coffee beans. Aged 10 months on roasted coffee beans.
Pronounced coffee nose
Soft lactose forward, beautiful smooth coffee mid pallet, no bite finish.
Stargazer black IPA with toasted rye 7.8%
Rye nose
Forward Dark and rich toasted rye flavor
Just a hint of bite at the finish.
Saison 5% Belgian golden ale lightly spiced with ginger, grains of paradise and citrus peel.
Ginger nose.
Soft citrus peel forward.
Grains of paradise mid palate and soft finish.
I love the area, the history and the museums, but I’ll return just to visit Redbeard Brewing. Loved every single brew I tried. The brew meister(s) are true artisans.“

“We were traveling through the Shenandoah Valley and wanted something more memorable than a regular hotel. Stable Craft was easy to reach from I-81, but it felt tucked away with beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere. The best part was walking over to the taproom for dinner and drinks.“

“Connor was an amazing bar tender that answered questions and told us about the area while serving good beer.
I'd totally recommend this place to others. Each beer I had was well crafted. the space is chill and there are boardgames.“
