Pro Re Nata in Staunton offer a cozy tap room with a large well‑furnished outdoor area. The space is snug and comfortable for a casual date or a group hang. The beer selection is broad and well developed, with lagers, Pilsners, IPAs, sour, stout, ciders and cocktails. We like the light to dark choices and the real selling points are the beer and the pizza. The specialty pizza is good and the food menu has salad, wings with dry rub, load cheese fries, a $10 burger and a Smash‑ish burger on toasted Texas toast. The fries are crunchy and the cheese ratios are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bartender knows what we want and is happy and upbeat. We will definitely be back for the pizza, the burger and the beer.
