“Every time I would come to town I had to have Golden Skillet! It appears to be under new management who has the restaurant looking amazing! Very clean in there but man the food quality isn’t the same. The food was very hot and fresh which was a great thing! But the taste of the mac n cheese and baked beans were awful. I would consider revamping the recipe or removing those sides altogether. The macaroni salad was good. I always get the chicken but I may try the fish next time“

“Went through the drive thru. Very busy time, long line of cars but the wait was minimal. Employee was friendly and tried to help me with my BK card as payment but was an issue with the card company so I had to use other payment. Not their fault. The food was the best tasting I have gotten from BK in years! It was hot and fresh. It just tasted so much better than other BK restaurants I usually go to, I don't live in the area. I placed a large order just 30 minutes before closing—four chicken sandwiches, a 20-piece chicken tender meal, and their amazing honey biscuits—and everything was fresh, hot, and made to order. That kind of care and quality, especially so close to closing time, really impressed me. The food? Top-tier. I don’t eat at Chick-fil-A often, but my grandson loves it—every time I take him out, he asks for Chick-fil-A and always wants their special sauce with his meal. That’s what brings me in.

There are a few things I really enjoy: the waffle fries, kale salad, and the consistently excellent customer service. Every location I’ve visited has friendly, respectful staff, and that’s something I truly appreciate. However, I personally find the chicken to be a bit too salty for my taste, so I tend to stick with a few sides I know I like.

My biggest concern is the cost. On our most recent visit, I ordered two meals and the total came to over $32. I understand prices have gone up everywhere, but for a fast food chain, that’s a lot—especially when you’re just a grandmother trying to treat her grandchild to something simple. Spending time together shouldn’t break the budget.

Overall, Chick-fil-A is a well-run, clean, and family-friendly place—but I do wish the prices reflected that same spirit of accessibility and care.“

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!“

“Went here for dinner on 11/11/24. The first thing I noticed was the gigantic sign. I think it was the biggest sign on that road. It did not take me long to order, and staff was nice. I ordered classic roast beef combo with curly fried and Dr. Pepper for the drink. The roast beef was packed with meat, it was fresh, bun was soft, and curly fries were hot. All topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayo. But the best part was their new habanero and ghost pepper hot sauce that I added to the wrap. It was so tasty and spicy, it got me sweating. It was the perfect balance of flavor and heat. If you love spicy food, you have to try this hot sauce. Kenn-Tico Wraps is my favorite food cart in Richmond. It was an average 85 degree day outside and dam it was cold inside. It was so cold the girl taking our order was wearing a fleece.

Parking: Plenty of marked spots. Easy to get in and out of.

Kid-friendliness: Kid food options. Chicken tenders were some of the best of the fast food chains.

The location is incredibly convenient, making it a great spot to grab a quick meal when you're on the go.

As always, the food did not disappoint. The Chick-fil-A sauce is, without a doubt, one of the best sauces I’ve had at any fast-food chain—it’s perfectly tangy and creamy, and it pairs perfectly with just about everything on the menu.

I went for the chicken strips, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside—just the way a chicken strip should be.

The seasoning was spot on, and they were cooked to perfection. It’s great to see that even in the fast-food world, Chick-fil-A delivers such high-quality, flavorful food.

“My family was passing through the area, and we stopped here for dinner. I saw several other reviews talking about the place being dirty and disorganized, but that wasn't our experience. Maybe I'm just used to some pretty dirty fast food restaurants, but this Taco Bell is definitely one of the better ones I've been to. The bathrooms were updated and clean. The dining room was clean. I went back today with my receipt, I didn't get the woman's name but she was so kind and understanding, I think she was the shift leader. Every person who's ever served us there has been great. Even if they're not chipper, they're ALWAYS polite and get you whatever you need, no sighing or eye rolling even once. Everything is always cooked perfectly and we've never been shorted on portions.

“My first time visiting OMG Pizza and I will definitely be back. I ordered the Philly Cheese steak, the pepperoni sausage calzone, chili cheese fries and NY cheesecake. Not a single crumb was spared. Absolutely delicious quality ingredients, impeccable fast, and courteous service. Truly a hidden gem in Southside. As some one who worked in the the hospitality industry for over 20 years I can admit I expect a lot. And OMG has definitely exceeded my expectations.
