“Came here last week for the very first time. WOW! Absolutely delicious from the soup to dessert. Hibachi with chicken and shrimp was among the best I’ve ever had. Topped it off with fried cheesecake—-YUMMMMY!! We’re back again for more. Great service and such amazing food.“

“I ordered the kimbap and naengmyeon, the portions were huge! The meal also came with a side soup and banchan which I wasn't expecting. The buckwheat noodles were chilled and spicy, super chewy and very filling, highly recommend if you are looking for a dish thats outside the norm“

“Another great time spent here! I had the San Jose Burrito! Soooo good! I like the kick of spice added. I also had a margarita (lime). Happy hour special. Wonderful. The place is always clean, plenty of parking (except for Cinco de Mayo) and always a popping environment! We also had the steak fajitas, forgot to picture it ?, it was good as well???. It has changed managers, but it’s still a fantastic place for a good time. Food comes out hot, fresh, and fast. We’ll be back soon!“

“I am a regular here. The food and service are always top shelf. The deviled eggs are the best I have ever had, and that includes eclipsing the deviled eggs I had at the kitchen table in the Inn at Little Washington. When a local restaurant can put a Michelin three star to shame, you should visit.“

“11/13/2022 Lunch with friends today. As always food was hot and cooked to our liking. Never disappointed. Today it was especially good. The Super Young Lady we had as a Server, her name was Rachel was an absolute pleasure!! All of us said the same thing. Attentive. Super Personality and just couldn’t have been any sweeter. We all brag about the food; but Young People like this deserve recognition and hopefully Management let’s her know how much we enjoyed the food, but she was the highlight of the meal. Excellent Job Young Lady!!“

“It was the happiest day ever, and I am so sorry to be weeks overdue in highlighting Chris Christou, Michael Christou and The Cockeyed Rooster Cafe's world-class crew for helping me plan a surprise retirement brunch for my husband, Tom Norris, and more than 40 friends and family members last month. Those dear folks at The Rooster took care of every last detail, and despite Tom and me popping in there to eat several times a week, they somehow managed to keep the brunch a secret from Tom for nearly a month without spilling the beans. The tables were arranged and decorated with colorful balloons and ribbons early enough that morning for me to scurry in to place party favors and signs, which The Rooster had been storing for me in a back room and that the ladies helped me set up. Many of the staff and guests attending the brunch dressed in Hawaiian shirts and leis – Tom’s official retirement uniform – and even The Rooster’s oversize mascot on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant looked quite festive in his coconut brassiere! As always, our meals were wonderful and beautifully presented by the kitchen crew and our servers. And as the brunch took place the same weekend as the Kentucky Derby, master dessert artist Miss Blair honored our request to whip up several of her spectacular Derby Pies (aka Toll House Pies), a southern delight. I could never thank the ownership and staff of The Rooster enough for making an already special occasion even more memorable. We will never forget your thoughtfulness and attention to even the smallest detail. Much love and big hugs to you all, Missy❤❤❤“
