“We've ordered Thai dishes from this restaurant several times, and we really love it. The flavors are perfectly balanced and remind us of the dishes we had while traveling in Thailand. Unlike other Thai restaurants, where the food tends to taste sweet due to the heavy use of sugar, this restaurant's food is just right. Just thinking about its dishes makes my mouth water, and I can't wait to order from this restaurant again soon.“

“came here due to it's availability to be opened during July 4th. so you can imagined I had the place all to myself!

started off w the traditional phở special and the Vietnamese iced coffee. phở was underwhelming... definitely on the lighter side. even w the extra trimmings it was ok @ best. the coffee was also not as rich and flavorful as a straight drip chicory coffee w sweet condensed milk would offer. you can tell by the light coloration of the glass as soon as it was brought out.

the highlight of the meal was the fried crab & pork rolls. you can hear the kitchen frying it up because the rolls are usually prepped ahead of time and fried to order, which usually doesn't take long. I enjoyed it a lot dipping w the fish sauce. the first bite didn't looked like it had a good amount of crabs but the 2nd piece showed it; just a comparison of the way the fillings looked even though both were plenty.

overall: if I'm here I'd try something else. it was good experience.“

“FOOD IS GREAT. We are coming from Pennsylvania and we love Vietnamese food so when we saw they had bahn mi, I knew I had to go. The pork was the most flavorful sandwich out of all of them and it was extremely delicious. We had the combo fried rice , it was a 10/10 and we are picky eaters. We also had the egg crepe which we did not care for at all so I would not recommend it . However , I never have mango sticky rice where I live so I decided to take advantage before I leave and it was soo good! Mangos were sweet. I’m definitely coming back here when I go on vacation. Their Thai teas were amazing . The owners and employees were so sweet.“

“Hands down the best Thai Food that I have ever had, and I consider myself a Panang Curry fanatic, and Am Thai has the BEST one period.

Perfect balance of spice and the kefir limes add the perfect balance! It is spicy as it should be, but they can adjust the spice for you.

They even accommodated my special request of Cripsy Duck with Panang Curry! So nice of them! The duck was delicious!!!

“We have eaten here several times as a family and it never gets old. My kids order the grilled chicken and broccoli which seems strange for kids to want but they truly do enjoy it. I order the pot stickers with my meal which are very good as well. You can't go wrong with what you order here because you can order it how you like it and they are very accommodating to your preferences. The service is always quick and they are always very kind. Definitely a good choice for lunch or dinner.“

“Saturday night 45 minutes before closing and restaurant was packed. First time trying and we thought it was pretty good pho - probably only second to Pho 75. The staff is very nice and cordial, and you can tell there are a lot of repeat/ familiar customers here.
Only downside is the price - very expensive for a bowl of pho.“

“I like this place. The noodles are solidly good. Zero complaints. The staff are generally nice, which is not always true of fast casual places. I've liked everything I've gotten there: pesto zoodles, pesto cavatappi, Japanese pan, pad thai, penne rosa, fresca, Mac. I was surprised by the fat content, but maybe that's why they're so good ? I even like that they have Izze drinks“

“Had read some mixed reviews but we gave it a shot and we were greatly impressed! We called ahead for our party of 10 and they had our reservations ready and accommodated us nicely. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! I don't normally write reviews, but again, I was impressed. Definitely recommend!“

the restaurant is order via QR code and on your phone. the white lights they use in the restaurant kinda made it feel like i was in a lab or medical office since it was so bright. every single table was filled up on the Friday evening with families waiting to be seated.“

The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it. “There are so many pho restaurants in NOVA, but Pho Hai Duong has quickly become my favorite. I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! “We have been loyal customers of Sam Phao Thai for years because they consistently serve the best Thai food in the Alexandria area. Our go-to dishes include the coconut shrimp, spring rolls, Panang curry, drunken noodles, and pineapple fried rice. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

One of the things we appreciated most was how well they handled special requests through delivery apps. This was especially important for us because my husband is allergic to shrimp, and his favorite dish—the pineapple fried rice—comes with shrimp by default. They always took the time to accommodate that, which made it easy and stress-free to order from them regularly.

Unfortunately, they recently stopped allowing special requests through delivery apps, which has made it harder for us to order safely. As a result, we’ve had to branch out and try other places.

We still love the food and hope they consider bringing back the option for special requests. It made a big difference for families like ours“

Because of the chemo, he has changes in taste and unexpected issues with food textures. You can tell they love the job that they do. This is the kind of service you wanna comeback for more. I also appreciate that they're wearing a transparent mouth shield as it looks more neat than a regular mask. They offer free soup and coffee on top of your regular order which is great since it's winter around this time.
