“I haven't been here in a while, admittedly. Discovered it by getting lost, and I enjoyed the food. Good solid breakfasts, short order style. Great service, and friendly, comfortable atmosphere. I will have to make a trip to Williamsburg area again to re-visit.“

“Make a reservation if you are going on a Saturday evening. We went in without a reservation so we sat at the bar rather than wait 45 minutes. Our next door neighbor said they have great burgers and she was right. They were tasty! Definitely a cool little spot off the beaten path.“

“This place was so good!! ?We're vegans that eat ethically sourced eggs, so this place was a great find. We ordered the tofu bowl, I don't think it's even on the menu but if you ask it's likely available ? it had marinated tofu, rice, veggies and it was delicious and filling. The staff is super friendly. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!“
“I was in the Commons as part of a tour for 9th graders from Argentina and New Hampshire. There was an amazing array of all types of food. From oven fire pizza to made to order omelets to a huge salad bar to Brussel sprouts and so much more. Dessert was everything from decadent brownies to fruit to ice cream to cake and more. Our two groups sampled almost everything. All of the offerings were delicious. The servers were all very welcoming and quick. It was very impressive. I'd love to go again.“

“I've come to enjoy Wendy's. I love their frostys, and their frosty machines are never down (McDonald's take notes). The staff here was friendly. If you get the chance, buy the 3 dollar free Frosty Jr. for the whole year of 2024. It sits on your Keychain, and you show it and get a free Frosty Jr. with a purchase all 2024!“

“Cute little place with a very nice staff! The milkshakes were a hit with the kids and they were kind enough to let us fill up our water bottles with water before hitting the road to drive the couple hours back home.Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids and the menu looked very kid-friendly.“

“This place is remote but so crowded, no one could consider it hidden! It's obviously a well-known place for locals. The wait was an hour for dinner at 7:00 pm on a Saturday evening. We were seated after about 50 minutes. I was VERY impressed with the hostess. She was very patient and professional with the folks who kept pressing her about how much longer they'd have to wait for a table. She's a pro! We were seated and had already perused the menu while we waited so we were ready to order (and hungry) when we sat down. Our server was Mashonda and she was friendly and helpful, despite being incredibly busy. The menu had a very good variety of selections and specials. The food arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly. It was delicious! It's easy to see why it's a local favorite. The two reasons they get 4 stars and not 5 is because the tables are packed too close together. That meant we could hear every conversation around us as if we were all sitting at the same table. The other reason is because there are no bussers to clean the tables. The servers do it and they're already run ragged. They really don't have the time to offer good service AND bus tables. Management should really consider hiring bussers. No one likes to see so many dirty tables around. I'd go back but not on a busy Saturday night. The food was worth the trek from Newport News, but I'd prefer to enjoy my dinner in a cleaner and quieter environment.“
