“Had lunch here for the first time today. Met a group of old friends. The wait staff was very attentive and accommodating to all of us. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their selections and most of us had enough that we had to take some home. One even ordered more food to go. We will definitely go back. “As of yesterday, I was a first timer....we ordered the baked lasagna and a steak n' cheese sub. The food was DELICIOUS, and arrived in a timely manner, still warm,, and packaged nicely....we are ordering the baked lasagna again tonight, and trying the pizza....I highly recommend this restaurant, and have started spreading the word....also, warm and friendly customer service, which can be truly hard to find.“

“I have to give the biggest shoutout to Mama Rosa’s Italian Family Restaurant They deserve 100 stars. We held a private gathering there on March 9, 2026, after a funeral, and they treated our entire family with so much love and care. Anthony was amazing from start to finish, staying in contact, checking in, and making sure everything went smoothly. The whole family and staff were just as kind, welcoming, and attentive. We had over 75 people, and everyone raved about the food (which was delicious!) and the service. They truly went above and beyond for us. After the event, a few of us stayed and talked with their Nona (Mima). She is one of the warmest, sweetest souls I’ve ever met. We shared stories and hugs, and it meant so much. Mama Rosa’s is a treasure. If you’re thinking about going — GO! Don’t think twice.“

“I just came here with my two sons and the waitress was amazing. Very accommodating for us and she put baseball on the TV for my son. The pizza was delicious! I have been looking for great pizza here since I moved from New Jersey and honestly this is the best that I have found. I would love to come back. Thank you very much for the delicious pizza and the hospitality.“

“I needed to find a caterer for my classes 50th reunion. Mose worked with me to select a menu that was perfect and met our every need. Classmates are still telling me how much they enjoyed the food. Thank you to the entire Vinny’s staff for doing an exceptional job for us!“

“We had a great dinner at Joe and Mimma’s. The atmosphere is quiet, family-style, and old-school Italian in the best way. It is easy to see why they have been in business for more than 50 years.
Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish.
Everything we ordered was delicious, including Caesar salads, garlic knots, baked ziti, and especially the penne alla vodka with chicken, which was the standout of the meal. Portions were generous and the quality of the food was excellent.
Pricing felt fair and realistic for both the quality and quantity of food we received.
A great local restaurant with good food and good service. We will definitely be back.“

“My mother and I went almost as soon as they opened and the waitress was very pleasant and I would hands down say that this is the best service I have ever had an olive garden. Big shout out to our server Tristan!!! Amazing 10/10 for her service. Very quick and helpful!!“

“Everything gets really good what's up for sometimes they use a little too much salt. But I think that's where a lot of places are going nowadays. I think it's best that most restaurants cut out using so much salt because you can always add but you can't take away. Then you'll have to go get your food redone because it's too salty. But I just love it I love the place the atmosphere the service, just cut back on the salt. ❤“

“Went to nicks gloucester point site, pictures of menu and prices. Prices were not what was charged. Online for seafood platter 22.95 plus change and shrimp basket was 17.95, the large chefs salad was 9.95. Prices when picked up, were 34.95 for platter and 24.95 for fantail shrimp. Large chefs salads were 31.90 for 2 Please know that this does determine my feelings about returning even though we like the food. Price difference was just to much to ignore. Grocery stores have policies that cover advertised prices, you should to. Please update online prices. If you do the simple math, we paid in the neighborhood of 40 dollars more.“

“First time, husband got spaghetti w/ meatballs. I got pastrami hoagie. Took a house salad, cheesecake and canolli home. Food is fantastic, good service. Wish they had booths and the place felt warmer. Single tables all around felt out of place for an Italian Restaurant with good food. We will be back though“
“We do delivery only. The food never disappoints, but the drivers never pay attention to the instructions in the app. We ask them to leave the food at our door, and they always stand there until we answer. That will always be my only complaint. Everything else is good.“

“This place has some seriously great food. The pizzas are the bomb 💣 😍. The sandwiches are awesome and im obsessed with their salad 🥗. There is so much variety on the menu, and everything I have tried is delicious 😋 so its hard to pick. I certainly wouldn't complain about that cause I know whatever I choose, will be good. This review is coming from a serious picky eater. I only eat at 6 different places in this state, and this is one of them. Im glad its right down the street.“

“The stuffed peppers are my favorite. with a fresh salad and a bottle of red. lasagna is second, always fresh and healthy portions. Pizzas are true Sicilian, don't forget the ancovies. Home made bread for the table, for the calzone and, pizzas made inda house, you can taste the difference from any other Italia resturant in town. Prices are extremely reasonable! Chicken parm, Meatball , Lasagna all made fresh inda house. Great choice of wines by the bottle (take home what you dont finish or the glass. Fresh home made desserts like Caramel apple bourbon bread puddin and NewYork deli style carrot and Cheese cakes too. Reminds me of my Mom's cooking. I've tried them all, my family and friends all love this place. Nicest staff in Yorktown. Call for Rita and book the back room for big family parties. Andrea has it all.“
