“I live in a nearby neighborhood and I stopped going there because of the uncourteous staff and did not care about the customers plus it was not very clean but I visited toano subway this Sunday and to my surprise the staff was the best that has ever worked there. Aidan and the other young man working were so kind, so caring and helpful that I will definitely be back! Way to go Aidan and thank you!“

“We're from Florida where jersey Mike's and Larry's giant subs are a hit. This was better imo. When we walked in the young lady asked if we needed help and she kindly directed us to the sandwich wrap wall where you right down you order and then hand it to the cashier. This was different for us but kind of cool that you could take your time to think about what you wanted vs standing in line pondering. The tea was not sweet at all but the food was good.“

“The Raleigh Tavern Bakery is more of a food court than an actual bakery. The cookies are tasty but are prepackaged rather than fresh baked. They also have be beverages and coffee for sale. The building is colonial in appearance and is a replica of an actual building that would have been on the site. The staff are friendly and it’s fun.

“As subways go this one is one of the better ones. I do go here early for lunch so I don't know what the staff is like later on in the day or on the weekends. As far as huge chains like these go you really only have to worry about being clean and the staff being quick and competent. This subway checks both of those boxes“
