“came here due to it's availability to be opened during July 4th. so you can imagined I had the place all to myself!

started off w the traditional phở special and the Vietnamese iced coffee. phở was underwhelming... definitely on the lighter side. even w the extra trimmings it was ok @ best. the coffee was also not as rich and flavorful as a straight drip chicory coffee w sweet condensed milk would offer. you can tell by the light coloration of the glass as soon as it was brought out.

the highlight of the meal was the fried crab & pork rolls. you can hear the kitchen frying it up because the rolls are usually prepped ahead of time and fried to order, which usually doesn't take long. I enjoyed it a lot dipping w the fish sauce. the first bite didn't looked like it had a good amount of crabs but the 2nd piece showed it; just a comparison of the way the fillings looked even though both were plenty.

overall: if I'm here I'd try something else. it was good experience.“

“Gracious staff welcomed us in. The restraunt was very clean and the decor is beautiful. There are so many vegan options on the menu, it's hard to decide what to try first. We ordered the brown rice garden rolls, pad thai and congee. Everything was delicious. We plan to be frequent customers, and maybe eventually we'll be able to try everything on the menu.“

“Hands down the best Thai Food that I have ever had, and I consider myself a Panang Curry fanatic, and Am Thai has the BEST one period.

Perfect balance of spice and the kefir limes add the perfect balance! It is spicy as it should be, but they can adjust the spice for you.

They even accommodated my special request of Cripsy Duck with Panang Curry! So nice of them! The duck was delicious!!!

Service is impeccable! Atmosphere so cute!!!

We had the yellow curry as well—AMAZING too!

Great chicken satay with amazing stay sauce perfect thickness to it.

For desert we had the Mango Sitcky Rice and Fried Banana—both delectable!

“Had read some mixed reviews but we gave it a shot and we were greatly impressed! We called ahead for our party of 10 and they had our reservations ready and accommodated us nicely. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! I don't normally write reviews, but again, I was impressed. Definitely recommend!“

“New Sushi/Ramen restaurant that my wife and I have been to at least 5 times in the last 2 weeks. The food and service is incredible and the prices are very reasonable. “Came in on a hot day (July 2025). Loved the noodles, ease of ordering on the monitors and good seating to work thru lunch break. The customer service was 12 out of 10. All the workers were friendly and attentive. They greeted everyone, cleaned up after each guest, and asked every customer how they were doing and if they needed anything. Kudos to the ladies in the kitchen. I do think the AC is broken so it can’t be easy. There were also no bathrooms so I wasn’t able to wash my hands.“

the restaurant is order via QR code and on your phone. the white lights they use in the restaurant kinda made it feel like i was in a lab or medical office since it was so bright. every single table was filled up on the Friday evening with families waiting to be seated.“

“This place is incredible. I am not aware of any other luosifen noodle house in the area. If you, like me, are a newcomer to this style of noodle soup, you are going to be extremely impressed. The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it. Let's support high quality food!“

“We entered the place greeted by a beautiful interior and friendly workers. The menu was very easy to navigate. They were very kind with informing me with allergens and took it into note with our dishes. When the food came out it was delicious, the warm spices and hot steam that emerged. The pork dumpling was my personal favorite, rich juicy broth inside and the flavorful pork. We were full and extremely satisfied with the meal. We loved it here and will definitely be returning again.“

“Amina Thai in Rockville is an excellent spot to relax and enjoy some delicious Thai food. Their extensive menu features a variety of dishes, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. I tried the chicken Pad Thai, and it was truly exceptional. The sauce was wonderfully tangy, and there was plenty of chicken—definitely a step up from many Asian restaurants that skimp on meat.

We also ordered the veggie noodles, which were decent but didn’t stand out. Overall, the prices are reasonable, making it a great value. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the dining experience. If you’re in the area, Amina Thai is definitely worth a visit!

“My wife and often escape our condo office for their tasty and inexpensive lunch. We also get delivered food from them. No delivery charge, but we tip the driver well. We love their eggplant dishes, meaty spare ribs, duck and so far almost everything on their extensive menu.“

“This place has been around a couple of decades and is consistently busy for a reason. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. No strange odors or terrifying bathroom that you get in some Thai restaurants. While it may not be true authentic Thai cuisine, it's delicious Thai comfort food and you'll be craving what you had there again.“

I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! “I’ve been going here now for about 8 years and Passion Fin has the most remarkable sushi in the DMV. It’s definitely in my top 3 sushi restaurants in Maryland. I can tell the pandemic hit them hard and they now are closed on Mondays due to understaffing. Prices have been raised so I can only justify getting some during lunch happy hour which ends at 2:45. They have good Miso soups to go and they have mastered their packaging for carry-out. There’s a few tables outside where I often enjoy my food outside but whenever I’m there closer to 3pm the inside of the restaurant is barren.“

“Came for the first time after the owner ate at Honey Pig College Park where I served him. Very nice guy and I love pho and go to VA a lot so I came all the way from Maryland to give it a try and it was super delicious! Lots of different options, the pho came with lots meat and the summer roll and grilled pork roll was super good. The owner’s sister also gave us Thai tea and lemonade on the house and those were actually so good. Honestly best lemonade and Thai tea I’ve ever had.“
