“Wow! Staff is excellent! Food was really excellent!! We got a second bowl of chips and dips and not even 5 minutes later our food was out. I had Pollo Jalisco. You have already seen what I said about the food, excellent! Flan was the best I’ve ever had! I never got below a half cup of sweet tea. The staff was right there before we needed to even ask for anything. All told we were done eating chips, drinks, and our entrees in 35 minutes. So we decided to get dessert. Still under an hour for a family of 4 and the price was also good for food and dessert in these times! They will be getting more business from us!”

“STB has the best smash burger I have ever eaten. Everything is consistently hot and toppings are fresh. Our grandson loves the hot dogs and both styles of lobster rolls are delicious. “Went out to dinner to Something Different in Urbanna I just want to let the parents of the young lady who works in there named Lindsey know that their daughter is amazing. She knows her job very well there and she is a wonderful waitress. There was not a time that our drinks were empty and everything was on time ! Excellent service! “We finally made it to Nicks I don’t know what took us this long to go?! But, so glad we made it there tonight!! Our waitress Ashley is such a sweetheart and yes, she calls everyone sweetheart!! The food was home cooking! I felt like I was at home!! I got the fried oyster dinner and my hubby got the hamburger steak with gravy! And we were told they have the best homemade pies so we took a chocolate meringue and a buttermilk pecan to go for a late night snack!! So, if your wondering where to go to eat for a great price and country flair please go to Nicks where they treat you like family!!”

“You can't ask for a more beautiful atmosphere. The service is excellent and the scene is relaxed. We were disappointed in the mussels because they tasted too fishy and weren't that appealing. Other than that it was a delightful experience.”

“True hole in the wall bar and grill in a one stop light town. Creaky wood floors, peeling paint, knick knacks on the shelves, this place has character. Food is a home run... why? Because they take everything an extra step. Example: grilled chicken at every other joint- rubbery frozen chicken breast on boring bun, soft lettuce, mushy tomato. Here: grilled pulled chicken, virginia ham, cheese, spicy mustard/ mayo on a buttered grilled Texas toast... bang ... now that's a party in your mouth. Try the other sandwich concoctions... every one is a winner. Nice, honest folks that work here. You won't be disappointed. Instead of spending your hard earned lunch money at some chain restaurant joint... come spend it at a legit mom and pop establishment. Side note: they're so honest, the name is even legit.... it is actually on the Corner.”

“My wife and I heard about this restaurant from some friends and we decided to try it out for lunch on a beautiful Friday afternoon. We got there at about 2:30 and the staff were eager to help and serve us. We were the only people in a very nice dining area which did not distract from excellent service. We order a glass of wine and a Draft beer. Full lunch menu and we order the grilled chicken sandwich and the Philly Steak sandwich. Both were excellent and well prepared. Also had some onion rings and fries and they too were great. excellent experience and we will return.”

Yes, I would go back. The chicken was crispy, crunchy, fresh and marinated with something. It was slightly juicy but not greasy.”

“We were very surprised at how much better our Gen Tso and shrimp Egg Foo Young looked and tasted compared to the same we normally get at Tops China in West Point. The ingredients looked and tasted more fresh and the Egg Foo Young here was not covered in dark old cooking oil. My wife and I both said that it’s worth the 20 minute drive to come here than to go to Top China in West Point.”

“We enjoyed our visit to Dano's. The food was fresh and the service was friendly! We had pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks, and fried mushrooms... oh, and fries! Those fries were so good!!

So the pizza was delicious. Had plenty of toppings. We had a meat lovers and it did not disappoint.

Oh, we had a steak n cheese sub, too. It was just right. I ordered the 6 in and it was filled with good steak & melty cheese - I added mushrooms and sweet peppers 😋. I tried to get a good picture (after I'd been munching on it 😂) to show you the inside, but the pic really doesn't do it justice. I'd asked our server about the bread before ordering, and the bread was literally perfect. It had the slightest toast which gave it wonderful texture while maintaning the soft freshness throughout. (She told me you can order your bread anyway you like, so if you're more of a toasted bread person, let them know.)

The wings were really good too. Good sauce flavor (we had hot) and they gave us more sauce upon request. The wings were cooked well, creating a tender bite with just the right snap.

The mozzarella sticks had crazy cheese pull! And the marinara that came with was a good accompaniment. Finally, the fried mushrooms were run of the mill, but again, fresh and served with a great attitude.

The owner made rounds to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. That was thoughtful and welcome.

We would definitely go back again.
