Before getting into the wonderful dining experience that I had at Baja let me just say a few words about this beautiful lady of joy. As a soulpreneur/seelsorger I have been with many healing people in many healing spaces and I can promise you that you will have a calming, healing experience in her presence in this space. This seemed to be known by all of the occupants as each person that entered was welcomed unconditionally as family and the atmosphere felt like a loving home. Now to the food...OMG...the food!!! Every single bite was perfection! It is all made from scratch with fresh local ingredients and unique tweaks that cannot be found anywhere else. The flavors are beautifully balanced and decadent. This is not your average Mexican fare. I could eat the homemade guacamole at every meal. I had the falafel tacos...mouthwatering!!! Then...yes...then...even though I was stuffed...I had to try the fish taco...and yes I ate the whole thing because it too delicious! (AND THEY OFFER LIVE MUSIC!!!!) “Wonderful Mexican Restaurant! I'm so glad there is a restaurant in Weyers Cave now! The service was great, the prices were amazing, and the food was flavorful. They have great chips and salsa. The salsa is a little thick(which I like), but has a slight kick of spice which is awesome. The chips are somewhat thick, but not too thick. They had a lot of kids meal choices which we appreciated. My little one got a quesadilla with rice and french fries. The French fries feel lightly battered and so tasty! My wife got the carne asada which was a large portion of beautifully seasoned steak that came with refried beans with cheese on top, creamy guacamole, and perfectly marinated and seasoned pico de gallo. I got the combination dinner number one which came with rice, two enchiladas, and a crispy taco all of which were delicious. I highly recommend this place! You can't beat the prices and the food is fantastic!“

Floor is clean, decor is excellent.
Service is great - seen right away; chips, salsa, drinks.
They are going to give every other Mexican place a run for their money and a reason to step their game.
Smothered burrito and enchilada combination plate - excellent.
Prices are on-par with similar places. Bar looks beautiful. Will definitely think of this place before others for next time. The bad reviews must be fake or from a different time - there’s no way those reviews relate to this place.
We came 2:30 on a Friday.
The only thing I would recommend to the owners is switching the lightbulbs above each table to a traditional incandescent bulb- as LEDs are harsh on the eyes and too bright.“

“Amazing and authentic! We tried the birria, quesabirria, al pastor, carne asada, and chorizo tacos and all were delicious! The elote was fresh and well seasoned too. The owners are very sweet as well, great customer service. I mistakenly ordered the birria tacos thinking they would come with the consommé, but they were very kind and gave me a quesabirria for free (which comes with the consommé) once I realized my mistake. All was delicious, but we agreed the quesabirria was our favorite! Melt in your mouth shredded pork and the consommé was salty which paired perfectly with the lime. We left happy and we’ll be back again!“
