“While heading south to South Carolina, we were looking for some place to eat. Did a food search on maps, found, then stopped at Little Maria's. Glad we did. Hubby and I shared a salad and an order of chicken fingers. Enjoyed meal. Friendly staff! Would definitely stop again!!“

“Love the food, and love the owners. This is our go-to spot on the West End of the park, and we get takeout from here once a week.Parking: Can get tough at weekend meal times to get parking. They are pretty busy at dinner time, and a lot of takeout customers. I always feel guilty parking in front of neighborhood houses when picking up on a Friday/Saturday night.“

“For an east coast girl who lives out west, these cheesesteak subs are like manna from heaven! Amazing flavor, lots of meat and grilled vegetables and cheese and a PERFECT soft roll make this my go-to spot every time I visit. My husband got a meatball sub during this visit and I, of course, had a bite and it was so good. The meatballs had a good flavor and texture. This is also highly recommended.“

“A pizza that size and actually good is fantastic. The pepperoni and mushrooms I ordered as toppings were generous and very tasty. The sauce and cheese were good as well. It was cooked correctly and the crust was also quite good. Not a huge soggy mess like many other large pies. It was done quickly and when they said. Friendly staff and I like the location and shop as well. Cool spot. Classic foldable Brooklyn style slice that is not paper thin. For what you get it is worth the money. Have room in your car, she is a big one.“

“It's literally a small shack, but that's part of the appeal. It feels like you're in your great-aunt's kitchen. I tried this spot based on the recommendation of a friend out in Bristol. I have the best friends. Their menu is small and interesting. They offer a variety of small plates, tapas-size pastas, veggies, a burger, and a handful of pizzas. The food is homemade and highlights the local growers and makers in the Appalachia. I note this because you can definitely tell. My meal: -- Ginger Margarita: strong with subtle spice -- Crispy Chicken Wings: sorghum and ginger vinegar, fermented leek ranch. The wings were crispy as described but I was expecting some breading; however, texture-wise, these were better than breaded wings. Some spice would've been a nice complement to the vinegar flavor. The ginger was missing in action. A little hot sauce (maybe Truff?) would've paired well. The ranch was top notch, so I was disappointed to see it missing (and one of the wings I started) when they packaged my leftovers. -- Ricotta Tortelloni: charred and smoked onion butter, sage, balsamic. Amazing. Perfectly al dente and fresh with subtle yet rich flavors. -- Farmer's Pie: I was in the mood for some pepperoni which can be added to any of their pizzas except tonight's special, the Farmer's Pie. Since the server talked it up so nicely and because specials are ephemeral, I ordered it without trepidation. It was so fresh and unique, topped with nettle pesto, flowers, veggies, and some cheeses. Fantastic. -- Black Walnut Gelato: a vanilla-based gelato. It wasn't as soft and creamy as gelato usually is, but I didn't mind. The walnuts are incorporated into the gelato so you won't find any pieces to actively chew. It gave the gelato such an interesting and complex flavor. I really enjoyed it and was sad I was too full to finish. I enjoyed the vibe overall, from the tunes, to the down-home decor, to the intimacy of the dining room. It's the perfect spot for a solo dinner or a date.“

“The food would be 5 stars if they didn't use marveled rye cuz it has fennel in it and I hate fennel. Other than that everything was phenomenal. Food was delicious. We made a mistake and had to correct on the fly. The staff at the front was young and they were so patient with dumbness. It paired wonderful with the wine at barren ridge down the road.“

“I coach a basketball team that is from another town. We had ordered food from a business in our town but did not have enough for our team. Saving the day is the Staunton Domino’s! They were quick to help us by providing us with pizza to feed the rest of my team and great delivery service. Thank you Domino’s Staunton! The driver even threw in some plates and napkins without us asking for them! I HIGHLY recommend this store! AMAZING!“

“Waitress was kind, attentive, offered refills. Bread was warm and crispy. Alfredo was creamy, but it needed a lot of salt, there wasn't much cheese flavor or hints of garlic (minus one star). Fettuccine was perfectly aldente. The sausage had a good fennel flavor but was in a casing like a brat. The tiramisu was perfect, absolutely perfect. There are several dessert options. There was no one else in the restaurant at 530pm. ?♀️ By the time I left, there were 3 tables seated and there had been several to-go pickup orders.“

“Eat here at least one a month while in the Staunton area...The world's largest antique mall, and I mean the largest, is located less than a half mile away...You can spend all day here but plan on at least two hours to walk all the "streets."“
