“This is a to-go Indian chaat spot located inside a gas station. Here’s how it works: you place your order at the cashier, and they bring the food out to you. There’s also a small corner with a few chairs if you want to eat quickly and head out.

We ordered the samosa wrap, which this place is known for - and it was delicious. The filling includes chana and rice by default, along with whatever other toppings you choose, making it quite hearty and satisfying.

We also tried the dahi puri chaat, which was very good. My husband and I shared both dishes and were completely full by the end. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Oh - almost forgot! They also sell Indian beers here like Haywards 5000 and Kingfisher, if that’s your thing.“

“The best Indian food place in the entire DMV area. The most flavorful food around. Our favorite dishes are Chicken 65, Chole Bhature, and Butter chicken. Mango Lassi is delicious as well. The inside is decorated very tastefully, and the staff is super friendly.“

“I am not a vegeterian but tried this place out for work lunch. One of my colleague ordered foods for the group since it was my first time trying southern indian food.

Most foods were flavorful. My favorite dish was dosas. You dip it into a soup/sauce and they go really well together. It’s a bit exotic but think of it like you dip a piece of bread into a bowl of tomato basil soup. I liked it.

Service was ok. It’s a self-serve, order at the counter type restaurant; however, staffs were not friendly or didn’t seem happy to answer any questions.

Atmosphere is ok. It has plenty of parking spaces and lots of sits. They do get filled up quickly during lunch hours.

Overall, it was a great experience to try southern indian food. I can come back here to have dosas again.“

“Aditi Goumet is a nondescript small restaurant in Vienna. People can easily miss it as it is in a small strip mall at the edge of Vienna. But, it is a hidden gem. Aditi Gourmet has the best-tasting chicken biryani, the best-tasting goat curry, and the best-tasting okra (“bhindi”) masala in Fairfax County. I recommend it highly.“

The staff greet you with a smile and really take care of your choice of food and also give their suggestions to try other dishes too. We ordered mutton masala with rice, plain naan, and a chikoo shake. We also packed a butter paneer masala, which was great. The food was excellent overall. “Visited Akmal’s kitchen with friends and family recently located in Springfield, the Desi Hub. It has by far the best tasting Pakistani food in Northern Virginia! Menu has great options for all kinds of food from appetisers, vegetarian options to specialty food! We ordered the chicken pakoras, chaat for appetisers and for main course, mix sizzling platter, goat korma, Nihari (fall off the bone beef), chicken biryani, butter chicken. The biryani was very fresh, very fragrant and the chicken fall-off-the-bone moist and tender--some of the best we've had. The butter chicken was excellent-the sauce wonderful to enjoy with the moist and flaky naan. They also have buffet every day, which I will try next time!
The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating! Everything has been consistently fresh, delicious, and filling. Generous portions as well. Will definitely be back here again n again!

We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian (sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizer). The Natu Kodi and Shrimp Curry entrees were both spicy oily and tomato-based with the perfect amount of seasoning… very rich in flavor. Enjoyed both of those dishes. My favorite entree was the paneer butter masala. Amazing sauce - similar to butter chicken sauce. I was eating the sauce with everything!! Also had an amazing Chicken Dum Biryani where the chicken was on the bottom of the rice. The garlic naan was phenomenal. Got to meet their chef Krishna who was super nice and explained some of the dishes to us. We were pleased with our meal and will be back to try out their buffet next!“
