“We walked in and waited a few minutes before yelling into the back for an employee. We were the only people inside for the entire time we were there and we arrived at 4pm.
The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and interacted with our baby. The food didn't take too long to arrive at our table. I'm not sure why this place was so empty, the food was so good.“

We couldn't resist taking home some of their famous kakanin and turon to satisfy our sweet tooth. “Having resided in Virginia Beach and now living in the Chicago west suburbs, I have always been fond of this establishment. The customer service is absolutely second to none, featuring a welcoming staff and an expanding array of food products. Their popularity has continued to grow, partly due to media exposure. While my recent visit was pleasant, I observed that their pandesal tasted slightly different. The signature flavor that I have loved for years seemed to be missing. Has Angie's introduced any recent changes to their ingredients? I have several questions, but I shall refrain from asking further. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Angie's Bakery.“

“This is a local family owned Filipino restaurant. It's counter service with inside dining or takeout. They serve can or bottle drinks. I think they serve other in store specialty drinks; I did not see alcohol but I did see a snow cone machine. The food is fresh and authentic. I did a combo plate; chicken barbecue skewer, pancit, and lumpia. It was reasonably priced for the good portion size. I was fully satisfied with my choices. The lumpia is the best I've had in this area. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our server was so patient and was kind enough to even let us sample anything we wanted. I also bought some ube mini cakes and their hot plantain topped with caramelized sugar. Two more very unique menu items they serve. The dining area is clean and spacious. This was my very first visit but will not be my last.“

“Pepperoni Bread is always good but they close at 4:00 at the Centerville location and that’s way too early. People are just getting off work and they close way before dinner. Missed opportunity here. Liked the pre Covid hours better.“

Overall, Buko-Resto bar is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Filipino cuisine in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
