Wendy's in Virginia Beach

“I really like this location, been going there since they opened probably 25yrs. But the lemonade they sell is disgusting compared to other locations. It's always tastes like cleaning solution and I don't know if they don't rinse it out after cleaning or what the issue is but it's horrible. I'm trying to cut out soda so the lemonade is a great option now at fast food but this location it's like they are trying to poison you for taking the healthy option. I've tried probably ten times in the last six months and every time it's the same chemical taste.“

“The Drive thru employees were amazing on 6/2/2025 around 6:15pm. She was patient and kind and apologized when she could not get the order corrected on the screen for me to see and patient when I was trying to unlock my payment card...CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S BEST! Greatly appreciated 🙌“

“My go to spot after working all day and just needing a quick bite. Amy is also a great asset to Wendy’s as she is always welcoming knows my voice when I roll up with my mobile order. Truly making the experience for me very homely - like when I think of Wendy’s I think of 30+ years of memories, my late father had one of his last meals at Wendy’s so it always makes me feel close to him when I go for my order.“

“Attendant behind counter- amazing, friendly greeting, placed order in system exactly how we ordered items, made sure we knew where to get our drinks, made sure we received everything we ordered. Cook- food was good and exactly how we ordered.“

“Even when there were cars lined up in the to go orders, my food arrived quick and hot.

The staff was nice and friendly.

I was asked if I wanted 2 sauces which is rare now a days to have more sauce than what the franchise wants to give due to inflation cause by Lets Go Brandon lol.

Also I was asked how much ice I wanted. Which has never happen before in this franchise that u have been to;

“My rating is based on when they do everything acceptable.

I think their chicken sandwich is one of the best tasting but with visiting any Wendy’s, there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll pay $7 for one and receive a heat-lamped, or small and smashed chicken patty or worst both.

Just the other day, I purchased 2 spicy chickens and both were tasty but only one was worth the price (or I didn’t have buyers remorse). The other was at best 2/3 the size of the other. It felt like paying for a premium sandwich at a fast food restaurant but receiving their value menu version. There ought to be some quality control or awareness of this, on the cook’s end. And while neither appeared to be old, I have received old sandwiches in the past (one time too many) and this should never happen.“

“Kid-friendliness: I visited this Wendy’s at courthouse in Virginia Beach and the Black shaved manager was outstanding service provided! He was very funny and nice while I was ordering my meal with my family! We enjoyed our experience and will return often because he made us feel welcome and at home! I loved his customer service attitude!“

“This is the ONLY Wendy’s we will eat inside and we eat inside every time! With 2 toddlers it’s gets a little nuts at lunch times & the staff here at any time, any day is so kind! “The food was fresh, tasty, and correct. They gave us extra sauce, a coupon for our kids meal, and let my daughter choose her toy. Kenrick deserves a raise. He’s the best fast food cashier I’ve ever had and I’m almost 40. The place was clean. Exactly what you want when you take your daughter out on a girls’ date!“

“Service was very efficient and pleasant, which was great considering how busy it was at noon on the Friday before Christmas!! Biggie Bag (crispy chicken BLT, fries, 4 nuggets, small drink and key tag peppermint Jr Frosty) was perfect and ready quickly, too. I was not expecting things to be perfect but happily it was!

Parking: Extremely busy multi-lane intersection at Interstate 264 interchange, be VERY CAUTIOUS“

“My wife and I love Wendy's, we stopped at this one in Va beach didn't expect any miracles. Tight place . The folks that here in line at the drive through were impatient rude to each other and there was almost a fight . The people would skip out after ordering and the guy in front of us didn't even give order ,he just took ours. but the employees just took it all in stride . They retook our order and they were kind and fast as it could be...
good food as usual... My hat is off to to the guys at Va. Beach Wendys they have to overcome a lot a still come through 5 stars baby...“

“I was the only one in there but there were 3 doordash and one Uber ahead of me and it took a while. The nice gal working there told me that's normal and during concerts it's even worse

“Always so friendly and the food is always super fresh and hot. The ladies at the window are some of the sweetest and most hardworking folks I've ever met and always very fast!

Parking: Tons of spaces all the way around the building!

Kid-friendliness: Most of the ladies up here working are moms themselves they adore having kids in there and they are always so sweet to our kiddos

Wheelchair accessibility: Adheres to all federal and local accessibility guidelines“

“The staff is always courteous and patient when ordering via the drive-through.

The Biggie Deals are the best value for your buck. Their frosties come in seasonal flavors and currently Berrylicious ? is now offered. The prior flavor was creamsicle. I'm hoping for banana ? peach ? or pineapple ? is soon to come! I'm hoping eggnog or pumpkin flavors during the holidays to come.

I am a big fan of their charitable causes for adoption, foster care and children's needs. This year and at Halloween they have Coupons that help to serve their many child welfare efforts. The Jr. Frosties free for a year is your best bet! They also offer free Jr. Frosties for children who come in their sports uniforms for free!

Plenty of parking and there are some shade trees, but not enough in this summer heat.

I would like to add their drink section is Over the top with choices! I'm a diet root beer fan and this is my happy drink place!

I'm hoping to try their breakfast menu soon.

Parking: Had to maneuver around a couple buildings to get to the Wendy's parking lot“

“Kids wanted Wendy’s for lunch and we almost didn’t come to the one, bc the reviews are so harsh. All the workers were happy and friendly, food was out in 3 minutes and they delivered it to the table. Maybe the weekend team is different, but we had a great fast food experience.“
