“We are so glad we found this place. The drinks and food were outstanding. Our server Kristy was super. Very knowledgeable on the menu and helpful when we had questions. I had the Bison with butternut squash ravioli which was amazing. My wife had the meatloaf. We talked about our meal for the next several days. I wished we had room for dessert. We did take cookies home.“

“March 2025 | Spring Menu | My friend had the burger. It was his second time at Amber Ox, two different seasons, same protein. He loved it. He compared it to the fall menu burger and was so impressed that it was done this way. It was my birthday. I got the pork chop dish. Although, I love your menus, this is absolutely my favorite. I will be back before the end of the season for another taste. The staff were wonderful and attentive as always. You made my birthday dinner. Thank you so much.“

“Aside from my welcome at hotel reception, eating at the Golden Horseshoe Grill was my first impression of Williamsburg—and it was lovely! Each person who worked there was very kind, and I got to interact with at least five of the restaurant staff. The pulled pork was delicious. I sat outside and got to enjoy the view. Good people and good food. Definitely recommend!“

“On Father’s Day 2024 my wife & enjoyed a delicious Sunday Brunch in The Restoration Room. Cindy selected the Filet with Scrambled Eggs & I opted for the Country Ham and Poached eggs, both of which were delicious. Sharon, or waitperson, patiently explained several selections and options. She was courteous, personal, professional, and polite. Sharon, thank you for serving up delicious, fresh, hot meals. We will celebrate our anniversary next Sunday, June 23rd, and dine at The Inn again. We made reservations and asked to be seated in your area. “This French-Belgian brasserie, near Colonial Williamsburg's Merchant's Square, served the juiciest, most tender Steak Fritte I've enjoyed in a decade. Fresh truffle fries and mixed field greens made for appropriate sides. 10/10

Wine snobs will rejoice in upright erudition after seeing the wine list. 10/10

The service was professional and friendly, and my meal arrived sooner than expected for such a refined destination restaurant. 9/10“

“I ordered the pork schnitzel. It was delicious - crispy outside and moust and tasty inside. Liked the red canbage. A little too much garlic on the spaetzle but still delicious. I had one of the house drinks and it was very smooth and had a nice combo of flavors.“
