“Amazing food. Cheerful airy room, plenty of space. Friendly staff. Can’t say enough about the shrimp and grits, biscuits, arugula salad with fig & prosciutto. The meatball and rice grits (risotto to me) appetizer was perfect. The freshness of the food and sophisticated touches in preparation outshine most places I go to at home, and home is Manhattan so I have lots to compare this to. We LOVED this restaurant.“

“I went there on my last night in the Williamsburg area. I ordered the meatloaf from the bartender, and I took a photo after taking one bite. After I finished, I told the bartender that I was disappointed. The meatloaf was phenomenal, but I wish I had another night to eat there again!“

“My husband and I stopped here while visiting Williamsburg with our 1 year old son. The wait staff was extremely friendly to him, the atmosphere as perfect, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. 👍🏼👍🏼“

“Beautiful surroundings highly professional service. Wonderful food as good to look at as to eat. Menu had disappearing changed from price fixe to a la carte in the few days before our reservation but the entire experience more than made up for that.“

“Fantastic meals in Williamsburg! My wife and I went there for multiple meals during our stay. From amazing Burgers to Short Rib and grits with popped Sorghum, the meals were outstanding, as were the mixed drinks, and the staff were top notch. Highly recommend!!“
“A lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful setting. We noticed a marked improvement from previous visits, that the service was much more warm & gracious this time, as you should expect with afternoon tea, but had been lacking in previous visits.“

“I had the best meal I have EVER had at the 2nd Street American Bistro. Our server was fantastic and she helped us decide what we wanted. My husband ordered the salmon with broccoli and wild rice which he loved and I ordered the shrimp and grits and I can honestly say I never expected to be so thrilled by my meal. It was delicious. We started with the shrimp appetizer and it was just amazing.“
