“Once again, Jamie, Allison and everyone in the bar are the best. They treated us like family along with our daughter and son-in-law who went later in the day. Drinks are excellent. Daily specials are fantastic. Staples like the Thai Poppin Shrimp and Sesame Encrusted Tuna appetizers and entrees like their Bistro Steak, Shrimp & Griis or Virginia Style Jambalaya are incredible. Second Street easily offers the best dining experience in Williamsburg. You have to try it!“

“We've been to Amber Ox many times since they opened and never had a bad experience. I was especially impressed tonight (6/13/25) however when we went to dinner with my mother. We were initially seated at a high top table and the hostess took notice of the fact that it was difficult and uncomfortable for my mom to navigate. She took it upon herself to move us to a regular table (#17). Additionally, our server Hailey D. was incredibly sweet and attentive and of course, the food and drinks were impeccable as always. Thank you again for a wonderful dining experience and props to Hailey and the Head Hostess who went above and beyond. Your efforts were much appreciated!“

“Aside from my welcome at hotel reception, eating at the Golden Horseshoe Grill was my first impression of Williamsburg—and it was lovely! Each person who worked there was very kind, and I got to interact with at least five of the restaurant staff. The pulled pork was delicious. I sat outside and got to enjoy the view. Good people and good food. Definitely recommend!“

Cindy selected the Filet with Scrambled Eggs & I opted for the Country Ham and Poached eggs, both of which were delicious. Sharon, or waitperson, patiently explained several selections and options. She was courteous, personal, professional, and polite. Sharon, thank you for serving up delicious, fresh, hot meals. We will celebrate our anniversary next Sunday, June 23rd, and dine at The Inn again. We made reservations and asked to be seated in your area. “I went there on my last night in the Williamsburg area. I ordered the meatloaf from the bartender, and I took a photo after taking one bite. After I finished, I told the bartender that I was disappointed. The meatloaf was phenomenal, but I wish I had another night to eat there again!“

“I ordered the pork schnitzel. It was delicious - crispy outside and moust and tasty inside. Liked the red canbage. A little too much garlic on the spaetzle but still delicious. I had one of the house drinks and it was very smooth and had a nice combo of flavors.“
