“We had a good meal and good service unfortunately our night was ruined by an obnoxious customer near the bar. Very loud, yelling and using a lot of profanity. We ate quick and left so didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would’ve. I understand it happens but at some point management should step in and try to calm to situation down.“

“We've always had a nice comfortable, relaxing time at the Front Royal, VA location. Our server, Amy, made our visit particularly pleasant. Cheerful, helpful, and patient. We could not have asked for a better server. At check-out there was an issue with our "Pegs" Rewards and the manager was swift to step in and make it right. While we have visited many locations across the country, some better than others, this one has become our favorite!“

“Our experience was 5 out of 5. This brand is always consistent and dependable. No surprises. Comfortable , clean rooms, nice amenities and easy check in. We had dinner in the restaurant and Izzy was our server. She was so attentive and pleasant it made our experience really enjoyable. We were the only diners and saw many people leaving the hotel at dinner time. No doubt for wonderful restaurants but I suggest they try what the hotel has to offer. Steaks were excellent, vegetables and potatoes cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Thoroughly enjoyed this property.“

“We had the best server. His name was Skyler. Try to sit in his section if possible. My husband drinks a lot of tea/water and he never once had to ask for a refill. Skyler was always on top of it and had a new glass coming. We ordered steaks rare and they actually were cooked rare! Most places overcook them.“

Counter seating, coat hanger nearby, and a short menu (means they do those things really well). The hashbrowns have some sort of home recepie vibe to them that made them stand out, super good. I had eggs benedict, the plating was good, the eggs were pretty much perfectly cooked. Coffee stayed hot and full, and the server and cook seem to be the owners and spoke with us for a little bit about local events and hiking. Glad to have finally gone here.“

“Really impressed with all facets of this place on our first visit. The beer list is vast and has some gems we weren't familiar with. The food was fresh and diverse -- probably the best homemade veggie burger we've found in a while, with a nice crunch to complement the excellent flavors, and probably 50 different combinations on the menu to dress it up. And our bartender was very impressive -- they got unexpectedly slammed with a 2 pm lunch rush, but the bartender took care of everyone with calm, friendliness, and spot-on recommendations about their orders. Definitely will return.

Vegetarian options: Substitute their homemade veggie burger on any of their creative burger options. Could spend a lot of time exploring the options.“

“T bones is a hidden very underestimated GEM. It's a small quaint place with friendly service. The foods great for a quick bite or lunch. After work stop in for appetizers and a beer or cocktails with friends. It's not a fancy place but a comfortable low key place!“

“This is definately one of my go to places. not a franchise which is refreshing for this area and the staff are friendly and professional. Food is always good. Daughter got the chicken marsala and I got the ahi tuna appetizer with a salad and was primo!!! Happy hour is really good here too. Lots of food options that are well priced. I'm not a pizza person and tried it once and was really good. Columbo is awesome bartender.“

“Great service, quality food, and clean tables! I even got in faster than expected at 10am on a Sunday. The only thing I would say is that the restrooms could use some work...but if I have to imagine the people cooking and serving my food cleaning the restroom minutes before, I'll take the dirty restrooms over that haha. “I’m loving the new Big Bad W Pit BBQ restaurant inside. The food is amazing! My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich with Carolina Gold sauce. It’s a real treat for my family each time we come. The seafood bisque is out of this world!!!“

“We were passing through Winchester, VA on the way back home to Ohio from our vacation in North Carolina. We stopped into the Union Jack Pub for a bite to eat. It was a Friday night and they were pretty crowded so I was a bit skeptical of the service we might receive. We sat at 2 open seats at the bar and were waited on promptly. The food was tasty; but, most importantly the staff was awesome. A special shout out to Justin. who was our bartender and Angela, who also waited on us. They were pleasant, friendly, so helpful and efficient on this busy night. The kitchen staff we encountered were just as kind and friendly.
It's great to have a good meal, but pleasant and kind staff are the icing on the cake. We definitely plan to stop back again!!“
