“I had the black noodles, galbi and the spicy beef stew, and these dishes were outstanding. The galbi was perfectly marinated—sweet, savory, and grilled to tender perfection with just the right amount of char. Every bite was juicy and full of flavor.

The spicy beef stew (yukgaejang) was equally impressive. Rich, hearty, and packed with shredded beef, vegetables, and just the right level of heat. It had that deep, comforting flavor that warms you from the inside out. The broth was addictive, and the portion was generous.

“I truly can’t be more appreciative of Jay for going above and beyond for us! He came into work early to make what was probably the most delicious cheesecake my co-workers and I have ever tasted. It was absolutely perfect and made our birthday/good-bye/happy retirement celebration that much more special.

Not only was the cheesecake incredible, but the customer service was above and beyond in every way. Jay’s kindness, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate our request meant so much. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does.

The staff were friendly and attentive and the price was very reasonable. If you are ever in the area, I heartily recommend Korean Grill!“

“Mr. Sams resteraunt is the best! there are so many food options from pizza, wings, subs, butter chicken gyros, ect. Everything that my family has tried is amazing. we found the resteraunt about 2 years ago, every since this is the only place we get food from when we order out. Mr. Sam's resteraunt prime pizza and grill has become a house hold name for us and brings us together whether over a delicious meal or phone calls to tell what we tried today. “My family’s been coming to Empire for the last 20 years, even after we moved 30 min away, this is still our primary Chinese takeout spot. My biggest mistake was not leaving this review sooner. Food is always great, incredibly quick. Sure, prices have gone up but food cost doesn’t just affect consumers, it affects businesses too, so while not ideal, I get it. Yesterday, my buddy and I ordered some food for carry out on our way out of his storage unit. Come to find out, if you don’t leave by 9pm, they lock you in, literally. I called Empire back to tell them of the situation, and without hesitation, they offered to bring our food to us at the storage unit despite being 5 minutes to closing by the time we figured out that the police officer’s code wasn’t going to work (we thought we were gonna have to stay the night). Not only that, when he realized our situation, he went back out to a gas station to get us utensils to eat our food there *and* got us 2 drinks. We ended up getting out very shortly after, but it really stuck in my head that this is one of the nicest things a complete stranger has done for me. I didn’t need any other reason to keep coming to Empire, but this validates my love for this place and the people that run it. The best part is the food was still warm when we made it back home. Can’t thank the Empire team enough. 👍“

“Top China is not my normal Chinese place - I have been a Sampan faithful since before Top China opened. However Sampan is closed on Mondays (currently) and I was at Pitkins so I stopped in and ordered the General Tso Chicken lunch special takeout (currently $10.75 with tax). “I ordered a bowl of noodles with seafood. I reminded the server three times not to put crab sticks (imitation crab) but when my bowl was brought out, crab sticks were in the bowl. That’s a minus point for customer service. Other than that, the gentleman greeted every single customer when they entered the restaurant. This is a good point that I have rarely seen at Asian restaurants. He was friendly and polite too.
My bowl was good. The broth was great and. The dish of vegetables was fresh. I love their bean sprouts. I also had two spring rolls which were good.
The restaurant would look better if it was decorated with some Vietnamese pictures and played Vietnamese music.

“I went there around 6 p.m. on a weekday, and the place was already packed. The food was warm, which was nice. One thing I wish they had was disposable gloves for picking up food. Some of the serving utensils were a bit sticky, and it felt uncomfortable holding them with bare hands.

This place isn’t really a Chinese buffet. It feels more like a general buffet that also caters to the Latino community. They didn’t even have fried rice; you cannot NOT have fried rice at a chinese buffet. They also had sushi, which honestly wasn’t great, but I didn’t go there for sushi anyway.

One thing that really stood out was the imitation crab soup. It was really good, and you don’t usually see that kind of soup at a buffet like this, so I was impressed. Other than that, it felt like a typical buffet experience but a little less.

For the price and the variety, I’d give it four stars, but I wouldn’t call it a Chinese buffet, just a buffet overall.“
