Then came the homemade desserts that were humongous and delicious. Recommend that anyone venturing anywhere within reason of Benson, VT, to give this place a try. You will not regret it.”

“My son and I love the food here! It is always fresh hot and cooked to perfection. In addition the employees are so professional and sweet to talk to and order from, the customer service is exceptional! I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner one day and he takes a lot of pride and care on how he runs his business. He is extremely responsible, very intellectual and just a very good person who cares about his customers the community and his employees and business. I hope to get pizza here with my son for a long time and wish you all success in our local community!! After growing up in VT and being alumni of Castleton College, I can say this is a business we should all be supporting and helping to grow! we switched our Friday night pizza place so should you!! thank you!!!”

“We visited the Hot Biscuit when we visited Fort Ticonderoga. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed the food. We both had breakfast. It can be a very busy place. The service was awesome. The food was good and hot. The server wore a smile and was so pleasant.

“Very good: sure I had a bit of a wait:; they had to cook it! First time I got a chicken sandwich; I thought the chicken was a bit hard; I'm sure it was frozen that's why. I didn't like the chicken. Otherwise great for ice cream. I will go again.”

“We went in on a busy Friday night. The staff was working so hard to keep everything moving, but the kitchen had gotten backed up. We witnessed a young young man absolutely lose his mind because he had been waiting. He literally threw a temper tantrum! So embarrassing….for him. Despite his behavior the servers were top notch and we didn’t wait long at all for our dinners. I had the Mediterranean Pasta and it was delicious and big enough for two meals. Thank you for your hard work and we will be back!”

“Although I like this place I ordered the rocket burger and basically poutine. My French fries had ONLY the slightest bit of gravy on them (no cheese even though that’s what I ordered.) the rocket burger had the tiniest bit of boom boom sauce on the bottom of the sandwhich. I get y’all may be understaffed but make your food correctly how people order it and these reviews wouldn’t happen. Again, I love this place as much as the next, but it’s upsetting I paid 40 dollars for food that wasn’t made correctly.”

The garlic bread and pizza are hands-down the best we’ve ever had full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly made. The restaurant itself has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and you can immediately tell why it’s been loved in the community for over 42 years.

The owner is truly a wonderful lady who takes pride in her work. She has created her own little Hall of Fame wall filled with customer pictures and memories from the past four decades such a unique and heartwarming touch that makes the place even more special. It’s not just a pizza place; it’s a part of local history and tradition.

The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and you feel right at home the moment you walk in. It’s rare to find a place that combines delicious food, genuine hospitality, and such a rich story behind it.

“2/3/2024 the hubby and i went to the restaurant for the first time, very nice greeting,chose our table, beer and a cup of coffee was the beverages. coffee cup needed to be bigger. we order mozzarella sticks, I had a salad, it was OK. hubby had the French onion soup, and a ham sandwich, the soup had to much sherry in it, tasted very vinegary.he said sandwich was awesome. my chicken fettuccine Alfredo was awesome. the owner/waitress never came to ask us how our food was. I am very picking on the service and food.”
