“My husband and I ate at the Wheel Inn last week while vacationing and on our way through Vermont. It was by far a total fluke that we found this restaurant as we’re from Ohio and our cell service and GPS was not working when we stumbled upon the restaurant. We are “foodie” people and have eaten all over the country. This food was remarkable!! I can’t say enough about the breakfast we ate. The blue berry pancakes were amazing!! The Eggs Benedict ….. perfection. We both wanted nothing more than to keep going back to this restaurant during our trip however we were on a fall foliage trip and traveling around. I will definitely come back to this establishment when I’m VT again!! Bob the cat was pretty cool too! Drove our dog crazy while we ate staring him down from the parking lot. 😂 On a 10 point scale this place was a 20!!!! 🙌🏼👍🏼”

In addition the employees are so professional and sweet to talk to and order from, the customer service is exceptional! I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner one day and he takes a lot of pride and care on how he runs his business. We couldn't wait to dive into our two picks: the classic Cheesesteak and the all-encompassing Italian--The Works. First up was the Cheesesteak, and let me tell you, it was love at first bite. This wasn't your typical Philly knockoff--each bite was packed with massive chunks of tender, flavorful meat, topped perfectly with gooey, fresh mozzarella that melted into the bread. It’s really high quality cheese. Speaking of the bread, it's made in-house, and it shows; fluffy inside with a satisfying crust, it was the perfect vessel for that generous helping of steak and cheese.

The Italian Works was equally impressive. Bursting with layers of cured meats, fresh greens, and oil and vinegar, every bite was a rich and balanced mix of flavors. It's the kind of sandwich that seems simple, but you can taste the careful preparation behind each ingredient.

“Although I like this place I ordered the rocket burger and basically poutine. My French fries had ONLY the slightest bit of gravy on them (no cheese even though that’s what I ordered.) the rocket burger had the tiniest bit of boom boom sauce on the bottom of the sandwhich. I get y’all may be understaffed but make your food correctly how people order it and these reviews wouldn’t happen. Again, I love this place as much as the next, but it’s upsetting I paid 40 dollars for food that wasn’t made correctly.”
