“Seriously surprised with this place! Pizza was thin and crispy. Had a slice of buffalo chicken and pepperoni. The buffalo chicken was perfect, the pepperoni was solid but the sauce could be a little more flavourful, still good though! Would def stop in again for a quick bite.”

I've eaten at a lot of places in Vermont and this is easily top 3, maybe even tied for first. Last meal I had was their meatloaf sandwich and it is hands the best meatloaf sandwich I have ever had.”

The butterscotch is next level and would maybe highly recommend that everyone give it a try. My only suggestion would be to pass out napkins when giving customers their cones. It feels as though there is a reluctance to hand them out when ice cream can be a messy but necessary evil!”

“Visiting from Wisconsin, our air bnb was right up the highway. Tried on Sunday 10/5 but the line was long already at 7 am. Bought some pies on Wednesday and man, worth it. The pumpkin cheesecake was delicious. Other family members we were with enjoyed the very berry crumble, maple bourbon pecan pie and a very nicely done apple pie. Can definitely understand how these pies sell out so quickly.”

“Can’t say enough nice things about Red Poppy Cakery! We went with them for our Wedding Cake and Cupcakes, and would have considered no alternative. We had a delightful first experience with our tasting - Janina’s comprehensive knowledge and presentation of everything from cake composition options to details of physical delivery logistics put us so at ease, and made us so confident that we would be taken care of. And then there’s the cake flavors! She has such a lovely variety of cakes, fillings, and frostings to choose from, that really allowed us to get a little funky with it and create some killer cakes/cupcakes that felt unique to us, and a little more adventurous in flavor than your average wedding desserts. And they came out looking so perfect, cute, and delicious! Honestly, every step of the process with Red Poppy was just so seamless and effortless, and I’d recommend working with them for everyone - from novice cake-purchasers like us to someone who's getting cakes and treats every week.”

“Listen ya'll...Warren's Kitchen is the only joint around for great Jamaican flair! Chef has done a wonderful job, fusing culinary delicacies to complement Alchemist's great beer! The menu has something for everyone/all ages. I'm glad chef convinced me to keep his bbq sauce on my burger! Take it from "Mr. Montgomery County"...these are genuinely good people serving great food.”

“This is the best Chinese spot outside of Burlington! We lived in Waterbury for three years but moved to Starksboro, and we still make the drive for their takeout. The owners and her family are so sweet, and the food is always delicious & quickly prepared. We love the Mapo tofu, spring rolls, and sesame chicken in particular!”

Mason is always accommodating to find seating for us as close as possible to our desired time. Jen is a wonderful server and we’re usually fortunate to get her. Then there’s the food. Wow! Best meatballs and mozzarella apps ever and from the linguini pomodoro to the chicken or veal marsala to the vodka rigatoni and saltimboca; all delicious. “Ideal for a quick lunch, this is my choice for dining at noon most days. Even lunch special plenty of food. Hot hot stir fry makes for crispy veg and tender meat. Sometimes they let me order off the menu schezuan pork (shredded) and I leave so very satisfied.”
