“My husband and I both ordered the smash burgers. Cooked to perfection at pink. I ordered the sweet potato fries, excellent not greasy and very light. “Mistral's is the restaurant that my wife and I visit to treat ourselves to something rare and very special. It's tucked away off the main highway, on the side of a mountain, and built to follow the curve of the streamlet dancing alongside it. It just feels so special to walk in. We are always seated at a window looking across to the forest and down to the brook. It's magical, beautiful, artistic and so romantic. The wine list is perfectly selected to provide a carefree point of departure from ordinary life. The appetizers, the entrees, the deserts are always well prepared, pleasantly unassuming, thoughtfully presented, and a pleasure to enjoy. It's all just so lovely and comes complete with a staff that serves with dignity, competence and warmth. It's unlike any place else in an exceptionally good way. It's a treasure that we return to again and again.”

Unfortunately the building was old, dingy, and dirty. There was a fly buzzing about our food constantly and I was a bit worried about the FDA showing up ? If you can get passed that the food was worth it for sure!”

“This restaurant is at Stratton golf course at the base of the mountain. Beautiful view. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Great service. BRITTANY was great.”

“Pizza sized pancak that warm my heart on a cold spring morning. Food was fire. However, the soundtrack to our breakfast was nothing but abrasive to the vibes. Stick to one genre, read the room at 8am. Maybe hair metal blasting over the speakers isn’t the move.”

“We arrived on a Saturday night around 8:00 with a group of seven and luckily they had a table available for us immediately. The drinks were great, service was excellent and the food was outstanding. My son and I had brisket tacos with au jus on the side which is one of their specialties. It was better than I can describe, one of the best meals I have had anywhere. Highly recommend.”

“Stopped in with my friend for our stay from RI; Went and had a steak and cheese which was excellent!! (Huge may I add) my friend had a French onion soup and was delicious she said!! Highly recommend because I’m a picky one and it was great! The waitress was very nice!”

“10 older guys were on an August golf trip to Stratton Mt golf course, staying at the Black Bear Lodge. For dinner the choice was Mulligan's at mid-week.
First impressions were great, greeted and seated immediately. The wait staff was cheerful and efficient, drinks after golf were welcome and served quickly.
Our food orders also filled the bill. Large portions and of good quality. (The only negative about the food was the stuffing in the baked stuffed lobster being a little bland. However, the price at $39.99 for two baked stuffed more than made up for it.) The other meals were rated highly and included steaks, ribs and chicken.
We will be back next summer, and Mulligans will be our meal choice. Also check out the attractive bar, overall.
The group has been making this trip for over 30 years and Mulligan's helped make this years a top ten trip.”
