“I flew into Burlington VT for a teaching assignment and needed to set up some specialized equipment for the class at the Hilton. Being a little pressed for time and already past normal lunch time I decided to stop by the Beacon at the hotel. I usually prefer local dining but I made an exception and I am glad I did. I was met with two amazing young ladies, Blake and Alison,who steered me through the menu and made recommendations. I also noticed an airline pilot setting at the next table eating a burger. He said his meal was delicious so ordered some sort of quinoa and fresh spinach salad topped with salmon. The salmon was cooked just right and the flavors blended superbly. Thanks Blake and Alison for surprising me an excellent dining experience.“

“Loved this place, stumbled on it while out for a walk. Definitely bigger than it looks. Great prices on drinks. Pool table and outside seating in the back with tables, chairs, foot rests and even has a grill and horseshoes. Bartenders were very friendly and outgoing. One of the best "local" bars in town that I experienced.“

“Im a regular patron who frequents this bar so if your reading this and see me in here let me know what you think of my review at the cost of buying me a pitcher (bud light please) my coworker and some more of my really close friends whom I met at this magical place are all friendly and make this place feel like a home away from home they have PS5 they play sports games on almost any game night and they allow use of the video game when there aren't any sports on some nights they have game tournaments where you can score a chance at winning 50$ depending on how many entrees are made the pot can get bigger but entrees fee start at 5$ they have 2$ hotdogs and some of the coolest bartenders in the entire area if you sit down and it says reserved for templin just be kind and move out of his seat. The back has free pool for paying customers only!!! On Thursday through Saturday avoid being there after about 10pm because that's when the more stupid people show up to cause all kinds of trouble and havock the best place to park is right in front the damn place they have a cow bell that rings if you fork out a big enough tip they have special drinks called liquid Mary Jane and others Man bonez is always wearing the most outrageous shirts and I love it Mollz Dawg is super in tune with what's going on in the world great person Dave Is the coolest guy at the door and Tarzan is one of the funniest guys who always has something to teach in his riddles of life or just play on words. Templin is super chill and knows what he's doing behind that bar. Safe to say I'll always love this place.“

“I ordered two shrimp tacos for $12 amazing a mushroom soup that was outstanding and I bought two more to go. It was amazing the soup was. The mixed drinks were reasonable price a person named Thomas was amazing bartender he was fabulous. I would recommend to go here to eat. It’s very good feeling good atmosphere food.“

“Needed a good old-fashioned dive bar karaoke experience last weekend and boy did this place deliver. Solid drafts at good prices, bar never too packed to get a drink reasonably fast, and both Nathan and Shiva were wonderful karaoke hosts who kept things moving and were great performers themselves. Fun diverse crowd, too!“

“The Pinery was the perfect addition to our wedding. The trailer was ideal for our venue due to limited space inside for a bar. The staff was flexible and friendly leading up to our wedding and the day of.The Pinery worked with us to create a bar menu that was a hit with our guests. We were able to create a menu with his and her cocktails and other cocktails to appease all guests. The team was also very helpful at recommending beers, wines, and nonalcoholic beverages. The prebatched cocktails (margarita, bees knees, whiskey sour) were all such a hit with our guests that we still receive compliments months after the wedding. The team even went as far as setting aside some of the his and her cocktails to ensure we had some before they were all gone and holding onto an egg white to make me a proper whiskey sour before the end of the night.We look forward to working with The Pinery again in the future and cannot recommend them enough for a wedding bar service.Carsen & Taylor“

“When in Burlington, fill up at Three Needs! The pizza is excellent, crispy well cooked crust, no flop. I got a no cheese vegan pizza and it was delicious, the roasted garlic was a standout. Alex devoured the Sausage and Pepperoni pie and Sam was very into his pizza which had tomatoes, I’m always a little suspicious of that, but then again I had carmelized onions, so who is the suspicious one??? The beer was cold and served with care, on a disgustingly hot and humid day, who wants anything more. Alex raved about the cider, I had the Hazy Conehead (maybe?). This isn’t drunk pizza, this is legit anytime you want to enjoy the good life pizza, am I right?“

“Fish and chips here is delicious and huge portions. Big filet of fish, lightly battered, you couldn't beat it in many other places. Their fries are also pretty great. Had a Caesar salad as replacement too which was tasty. The server was super chill. He gave some suggestions/advice on what food to get which was helpful.“
