“We visited August First as a group of four and had such a wonderful experience! Although we had to wait a little while in the queue, it was absolutely worth it once we sat down. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor, and the atmosphere made the wait fade away. We truly loved both the place and the food, it’s definitely worth a visit!“

“I visited this place recently and overall had a good experience. The location is nice, with a beautiful outdoor view that really adds to the atmosphere. Parking is limited though, with only a small space available, including a small bike parking/locking area.

The burger was juicy and very good in taste, but it seemed like it was prepared a bit in a rush. The ingredients were falling out between the buns, giving it a slightly unfinished look. With a little more attention to presentation, it could have been excellent.

The best part, however, is the ice cream – it’s high quality and makes for a perfect treat after the meal.

Overall, the place has potential, and with the good food, ice cream, and great view, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“We had a delightful meal tonight at Bourbon Street restaurant in Burlington, Vermont. Chef Richard is the host, chef and owner. He was a pleasure to meet, the food was delicious and the desserts were fantastic. This is a cozy little Mecca in Burlington. We felt like we were welcomed into Richard’s home. We are happy that we were able to get reservations. The food has various little twists that provided gastronomical delights.“

We chose to sit inside, as the day was blazing hot. I ordered the fish tacos, which were delicious. They only had two alcoholic drink options: Corona and their cocktail of the day. This is a very fun and pleasant place to eat. Highly recommended.“

It isn't the cheapest place around, but for the massive amount of delicious, fresh food you get and the speed with which they process your order it is more than worth it! The wrap I ordered was incredible, and quite literally bursting. It barely closed because it was so full! And it was done within 5 mins of ordering even with the steady stream of online orders being completed as well.

“Visited Sat 23rd August. For me, this is the best brewery in Burlington. I really enjoyed it. It's residential - so you get to meet locals and regulars rather than people holidaying from New Jersey etc if you go out in the Church street/Lakefront area.
I liked their Hefe, and they have a quirky beer that smells of bacon! There's a pizza place adjoining where you can get good pizza too. RECOMMEND.“

“The Pinery was the perfect addition to our wedding. The trailer was ideal for our venue due to limited space inside for a bar. The staff was flexible and friendly leading up to our wedding and the day of.The Pinery worked with us to create a bar menu that was a hit with our guests. We were able to create a menu with his and her cocktails and other cocktails to appease all guests. The team was also very helpful at recommending beers, wines, and nonalcoholic beverages. The prebatched cocktails (margarita, bees knees, whiskey sour) were all such a hit with our guests that we still receive compliments months after the wedding. The team even went as far as setting aside some of the his and her cocktails to ensure we had some before they were all gone and holding onto an egg white to make me a proper whiskey sour before the end of the night.We look forward to working with The Pinery again in the future and cannot recommend them enough for a wedding bar service.Carsen & Taylor“

“This place REALLY threw me for a loop… walking there I was expecting a quickie bite.. not an amazing dinner meal that even my picky husband enjoyed!

The vibe definitely did not match the level of culinary skills in the food. We got chive pancakes, they were chewy crispy and savory - perfect appetizer!

Two Asahi’s to complement our entrees:
crying tiger fried rice, the sirloin was marinated to PERFECTION! Best I’ve EVER had.
Duck Penang was an entire duck leg in a creamy delicious curry sauce with pineapples and tomatoes. So mouthwatering thinking about it now..

Staff was soooo young but SUPER hospitable and lovely! Luckily we’re not locals otherwise it’d be a weekly meal here for us!“

The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. We called ahead to make sure they had openings and the girl I talked to was very friendly. Upon arrival though they mentioned they don’t take reservations they had a table for 5 ready for us. Coming from out of state with 3 kids of different ages there were a lot of questions about the menu and our waitress Lexi was patient and kind; speaking with them directly and making sure to answer all questions. Ordered a Season of the Witch and house Old Fashion. The Witch is an incredible fusion of flavors and smooth to drink. The Old Fashion with OF 1910 was a perfect example of what and Old Fasion should be. Ruby the bartender should be commended on her mixology skills.“

“I recently had my third visit to Stone's Throw Pizza in Fairfax, and it was another fantastic experience. This time, I tried the 16" Blues in the Night pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The white sauce base, combined with the herbed ricotta, created a rich and creamy foundation, while the blueberries and fresh basil added a unique and refreshing twist. The honey drizzle brought everything together perfectly, balancing out the flavors with just the right amount of sweetness.

Always fresh, hot and delicious entrees and salads. Most recently I have been sitting at the bar while I wait for my take out order and have had the lovely privilege of being waited on by Simone's partner. She is a fireball with the best customer service skills I have encountered in Vermont or anywhere!
