“We have just returned from a family gathering, with a large group of us staying at the Dorset Inn. We could not have been made more welcome by the staff! Each room is so unique and so very comfortable. Your morning breakfast options were just delicious. We loved sitting around the fireplace sharing laughs or playing games, and again, the staff were so helpful and friendly, checking to make sure we had what we needed. On our final night our group of 20 had the most amazing dinner - EVERYONE loved their choices for dinner and dessert. Thank you, Dorset Inn, for making our time there so very special!”

“We had an incredible meal at Mystico in Manchester, VT, Friday night! This was our first time visiting since their rebranding, and it did not disappoint. The crudos were perfectly paired and balanced—each one a standout. The focaccia with whipped ricotta was delicious, and the fresh pasta was absolutely incredible. Every dish we tried was flawless!l- squid ink with scallops special, Burrata bucatini, duck ragu- all amazing! While the desserts were good, they didn’t quite have the same wow factor as the rest of the meal. If you haven’t been to Mystico yet, I highly recommend it!”

“My wife and I visited Manchester today and we had a wonderful lunch at Zoey’s! My wife had a turkey dinner and I had the double hex burger with caramelized onions. Little that I realize it was a top five burger in all of Vermont! It definitely lived up to that billing. We will certainly be back again!”

“My husband and I experienced nippers today and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food as we are dining at an odd time in the afternoon. The owner was our waitress, and she made sure my cheese sandwich had extra tomatoes and bacon on it, which I had not asked for, but she Upgraded it with no charge.. Hubby had a chicken quesadilla, which was different from his usual and he was a little hesitant to try it but essentially enjoyed it after the first few bites. It had black beans on it and he normally doesn’t enjoy that kind of thing. The restaurant is cozy and inviting. I anticipated a menu of grandma‘s chicken pie.-beef stew with mashed potatoes-or macaroni and cheese with hotdog. However, we were satisfied with our choices although we did not go for breakfast food we did enjoy what we had.”

“I never expected great barbecue in the middle of the Green Mountains. The brisket was superb and I have had brisket from Franklin’s in Austin, TX. I prefer Pearl’s. They have a large selection of bourbons and they make a great Old Fashioned. Our server Betty was wonderful and she made a great presentation of the Bacon Clothesline. We will probably make the 3-1/2 hour trip just for the brisket.”

“Mistral's is the restaurant that my wife and I visit to treat ourselves to something rare and very special. It's tucked away off the main highway, on the side of a mountain, and built to follow the curve of the streamlet dancing alongside it. It just feels so special to walk in. We are always seated at a window looking across to the forest and down to the brook. It's magical, beautiful, artistic and so romantic. The wine list is perfectly selected to provide a carefree point of departure from ordinary life. The appetizers, the entrees, the deserts are always well prepared, pleasantly unassuming, thoughtfully presented, and a pleasure to enjoy. It's all just so lovely and comes complete with a staff that serves with dignity, competence and warmth. It's unlike any place else in an exceptionally good way. It's a treasure that we return to again and again.”

“Our local company had our annual gathering at Mulligans recently, and the food was great! We got a few appetizers (the nachos filled 4 of us - not the really big, just the regular size), some chicken wings, 2 steaks, and 2 burgers. The food came out hot, and it was so good! Our waitress was great! She was extremely busy due to the holiday weekend, but made sure that all of her customers were happy. Thanks again for the great food and service!”
