“Hello, this place has put a new A in A game. My family has been coming here fore 30 years plus. We live over 4 hours away and this season blew our socks off. I don’t know who was in the kitchen, but wow! I have small hands and they accommodated me with the sandwiches. Proud to be a customer and will return “
“Dinner was delicious as usualWe are owners at the hotel, dine at Harriman’s often?Thursday evening Christopher was the only server, bartender, busses, and maitre’d. He served several tables of different sizes professionally;quickly, and efficiently! He did a fabulous job and I think his efforts should be praised.“
“We had a wonderful experience at Trail 87. Mike was so welcoming and he and his staff were so very kind. The food was just fantastic. I highly recommend the Shorty Pie, my 11 yo girl fell in love with it and ate the whole thing! Their Drive-In burger was perfect and hit the spot after hitting the slopes. And I do recommend the Apple butter old fashioned, it is different but awesome nonetheless.Thank you, Mike. It was our absolute pleasure to dine with you.“
“We had the most incredible dinner here last night. We were savoring every single bite of our meal and almost couldn't believe how scrumptious everything tasted. They use quality ingredients and the flavor is just so well balanced. We also loved the slower pace of the meal. We travel a lot and both agreed this was our favorite meal of the year. This is a real gem in this town/state/the whole northeast lol and we can't wait to come back!“
“I've always heard of Dot's dinner, I'm sure most people in Vermont have. Still, I was pleasantly surprised but the great food, service, and atmosphere on a random Sunday morning after camping in the nearby national forest.I'm sure we were a sight wandering in after two nights in the woods, but it was one of the best breakfasts I've had recently.I highly recommend Dot's!“
“What a wonderful treat to find Valley View via Yelp. I arrived on a busy Friday night and ordered the soup of the day -- chicken noodle -- and the entree of the day: steak tips. Both were TERRIFIC! Service was great. Crowd was friendly. Love this place! (The next night, my friends encouraged me to stay in Wilmington for dinner at another restaurant -- and the food quality was poor. I regret that I didn't drive the 10 minutes back to West Dover.)“
“We had a wonderful visit to the under new management Robert’s Roadhouse. We shared spring rolls and loaded potato skins that tasted great. Lobster Ravioli with shrimp Alfredo was delicious. Stole more than a few bites of my wife’s half rack of ribs that were perfect. Great choices for the kids too. Definitely will be making this place a regular stop.“
“Cozy restaurant in Vermont close by Mount Snow. We ordered a wide selection of appetizers and entrees and everything was great. The appetizers came quickly. The fried pickles and Wu Tang wings were solid (they can make the Wu Tang Sauce Mild or Spicy). The Golden Bubble White Flatbread was tasty as well. The Dark & Stormy cocktail and grapefruit mule were fantastic. The waitresses checked on our table a few times and helped us find the bathroom. The place was great for a casual dinner.“
“My husband and I went there a while on vacation and absolutely loved it! He had a hamburger with french fries, and he said the hamburger was delicious. I ordered the salmon sandwich on sourdough bread, and it was absolutely delectable. I LOVED it! I normally do not order a fish sandwich, but I thought this one sounded good and I'm so glad I tried it. The fish tasted like that of a quality fish and the combination they offered with it was so very good. The sourdough bread was excellent with it as well. I did ask them to take it off the bacon since I'm not a bacon lover, but my husband is, and I gave it to him. The salad was also very fresh and the vegetables seemed like they were of good quality. I just ordered the water and it was really good too. I actually asked the waitress about their water, and I think our waitress told us it was well water. She was also very good and we bragged on her to the owner of the restaurant. They had a musician that was playing there that night, and it was just a nice touch. We are both very glad that we went and would definitely go again. On a side note, we did not stay at the hotel, therefore, we cannot rate it. This review is for the restaurant alone.“
“As an older couple, we have stayed at quite a few very nice places across New England over the years. Many of them indeed have been very enjoyable, but none more so than the Farm Road Estate. The facility is very well maintained and clean; the decor is totally 'Vermont', and the food is fabulous. But what really makes Farm Road Estate stand out is simply the genuinely friendly staff - they made us feel very welcome, in traditional Vermont-friendly style. We can't wait to go back!“
“This is a phenomenal little cozy Vermont restaurant. Delicious American fare, cooked perfectly. An incredible beer lineup too. Guitarist on a Monday night to boot. Families here and feels like a place run by a family who genuinely cares about the restaurant experience. Bravo!“
“Excellent service, super attentive and quick. Great food for the area! We ordered French onion soup and clam chowder to start which we quickly finished and then tackled the big sized entrees. Ambience friendly and cozy. Guests are a mixture of townies and visitors. Overall after a long day of skiing at mount snow this is a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal before you nod off to an early night!“
“If you haven’t gone here for dinner you are MISSING OUT!A delightful surprise! It’s a fairly standard lodge space during the day, loads of space for everyone in ski boots and gear, but at night it transforms into a fantastic dining area with Mule Bar!Perfect for large groups, kids too, but mainly for foodie adults looking for the best flavors in the West Dover area. The chef is incredibly talented, there are NO wrong choices on the menu! The bartenders are also inventive and know how to mix a perfect (and surprising!) cocktail.Don’t let your tastebuds languish and your wallet suffer with other choices around town, this place is a hidden gem that is well priced and well run! Plus with room to stretch your legs and enjoy the Mountain Views, I cannot express how excited I am to have discovered it!!Parking: Huge parking lot, completely clear after the regular ski/snowboard crowd empties out after 4pm. Ramps up to the door for easy access.“
“Had dinner on a rainy Saturday night. The place was quaint with a lot of character. Loved the ambience and the decorations. The owner was also our waiter and bartender and we had nice conversations. The food was all delicious and everyone left full. I’d come back to try everything on the menu. THE POUTINE! I enjoyed the vegetable curry savory pie. They must have given a whole filet for the fish and chips. The presentation of the pork pie was fantastic. I had a little bit of everything from each member of my family’s plates. There is so much in the menu that I’d love to try. Would go back to Wilmington just to eat here again!“
“Food was surprisingly good for such a high volume place. Huge line for bigger groups to get a table but my party of 2 rolled right up to a table. I'm sure it must get rowdy later but it was all families with small kids still at 7pm. There was live music which was nice but dude only knew 4 chords and one time signature, but I wouldn't want to play for hours to a bunch of kids and tired parents so he did his job and did it well.Parking: Parking seems shared for a few places so it was hard to anticipate the crowd.“
“My wife and I came here as we were recommend it by the place where we were staying in Dover. Some reviews aren't that great but I can assure you that we never experienced anything like that .We walked in around 4:45 pm. Was fairly quiet, just a few people at the bar. We ordered a few different appetizers to try - the Irish onion soup, the Empanadas and the Smoked Salmon sliders. All 3 were great and the service was excellent with friendly wait staff and the food coming really quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered and would definitely come back again.“
“Recent expansion has not lowered food quality or service. A good diner experience of consistent high quality food, good service and reasonable prices. Only nit is food usually takes a long time after you order. We are regular pateons and plan on breakfast being anywhere from 30 mins to an hour in total.“
“I am writing this review as someone who did not eat here but was with a group of people who ate here. Walking by this place, it smells AMAZING. Everyone enjoyed the waffles in my group and thought they tasted great. They were quite messy though and you are only given a paper to hold it which definitely made eating this messy. The coffee here was alright, and they unfortunately are not inclusive of people who may have a dairy sensitivity or are vegan. I would have loved to be able to try something here, but unfortunately couldn't. 4/5 stars since the inclusivity isn't there and the coffee was alright, but everyone genuinely enjoyed their waffles. A good option for when you finish going down the slopes at mount snow.“
