French doors led to our own private deck and we overlooked the meticulously maintained grounds. Service was discreet and we were well taken care of. All of the people working here are amazing! “We almost missed the place, because the front looked closed, but luckily we saw the open sign in the alley. It was a treat when we arrived as the atmosphere was lively, we had no reservations, but were able to sit at the bar. The bartender was great and helped us with the menu and made a special “mocktail” for my wife. We shared a Summer salad which was so fresh and my wife had the salmon and I had a pizza with charred corn. Not something I would normally go for, but based on her recommendation I did. It was very tasty. Overall a great experience for a tucked away little gem!“

“Squeezed in a quick get away to southern vt for our anniversary after working 11 13 hour days in a row at the Big E. By accident we stumbled into magic mountain for dinner. After another local spot was inexplicably closed even after calling to make sure they were open we scrambled for whatever we could find within a short drive and BLT at magic was the only game in town. Couldn't have worked out better for us in the end. BLT was some of the best food I have ever had at a ski lodge and I have worked food and beverage for a lot of different ski resorts over the years from Telluride to small western mass local hills. Our server Carolina was beyond hospitable and had amazing energy and was on point with all her recommendations. Girl deserves to make her own schedule. When we showed up I was expecting to be maybe the last table in an empty dining room eating the same sysco stuff everyone else has and instead we found a full parking lot and tons of locals playing trivia and waiting for the Sox game. Super fun vibe and energy, food that punched above and beyond expectations and legit quality service has us excited to come back the next time we take a trip up 100. Well done guys.“

“Our family had a wonderful meal at Calcuttas. Burgers, Rueben sandwich, fish and chips and the tuna with wonton chips appetizer were all good. The young man who was our server was excellent. Cordial, prompt and warm. We sat outside and it was a gorgeous Vermont evening! Perfect!“

“Stayed there over the Thanksgiving holiday. The room we had was small but nicely furnished. Even though the room faced the highway it was quiet overnight. We enjoyed dinner in the Pub section of the dining room - reasonably priced and delicious. Thanksgiving day they featured a buffet style brunch with turkey and all the fixings. Again, food was terrific and the service was excellent. We will be back again for sure“

“Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. The prices are a bit high, but that feels fair given it's so conveniently located in the ski resort. Our food was delicious and our waitress (Sarah) was so genuine and wonderful. We ate here twice on our trip. Would definitely recommend.“
