“Today we had a delicious lunch at Two Sons Bakehouse in Hyde Park. The waitstaff was perfect; friendly and attentive. When our order arrived, one bite of the French Fries and I said- well the fries are great! After a few more bites, we were so glad we tried this place. The Smashed Burger and BLT were great. We took home treats for later: 2 lemon squares.Delicious! Before leaving I used the wash room-- clean and new. I give this place a solid 5 stars.”

“Run, don't walk, to Soulmate Brewing!! We had the pleasure of stopping in Saturday late afternoon to complete our brewery tour of some other places in the area. Soulmate was by far our favorite! First off Jonathan, the owner, could not have more personable. Loved our time chatting away about his history with the place and how it came to be, and how he was originally (?) from NJ, like us! Their space is so unique and has truly awesome award winning brews, food (try any of the waffles!), and just the best vibes - Steve the Beav was a highlight :) Soulmate Brewing Co ticked all the boxes for us, and the fact that it is vet owned and operated, made it all the more special to check out and support. Go check out Soulmate...you will not be disappointed!!!”

“Our very first pre-ski Vermont breakfast was here at the Stowe Bee; I'm sure they can spot a tourist from a mile away, but I stop short of the selfie stick and I had the kiddos so they were more than happy to oblige with a get-to-know-Stowe, cliff notes version. Wow, was their pastry selection impressive, and not just sweet but also savory options (I left with a spinach and feta Danish, of sorts). We had to try some of their famous, hearty biscuits, so we dressed them in true breakfast fashion to fuel our day, and they didn't disappoint. We all chose something different, so we covered most of their breakfast sandwich varieties (The Sunrise, Ridgeview and Lord). With everything local, the flavor was there, the purpose was there, and the heart and soul of cheddar country was represented with that melty, savory Cabot. Biscuits were flaky, eggs were fluffy, and I don't think we uttered a word other than ‘smile’ for the first five minutes around that table. Really friendly, inviting and helpful service and advice, both for their menu and for all there was to offer in town. The kids couldn't have had a better first impression for our epic Stowe adventure, so thanks for your kindness and chalking up an easy win for dad.”

“Had the trio sliders each one was unbelievable I kept thinking one was gonna be better than the next and they were all just amazing. Also hooked up with the flake steak taco I think that’s what they’re special was really really good. I haven’t had better. These guys are alchemist in the jerk chicken Arena.”

“Staff wonderful. It doubles as an art gallery as well, and lots of great locally made merch. No food to speak of, so don’t plan on eating lunch there. As for the beers, they were all excellent, especially loved the ginger flavored one. The young man told us it was made with fresh ginger. Easily accessible from the bike trail. Definitely recommend.”

“Listen ya'll...Warren's Kitchen is the only joint around for great Jamaican flair! Chef has done a wonderful job, fusing culinary delicacies to complement Alchemist's great beer! The menu has something for everyone/all ages. I'm glad chef convinced me to keep his bbq sauce on my burger! Take it from "Mr. Montgomery County"...these are genuinely good people serving great food.”

And elotes. Everything was 10/10. The food was fresh. Made with care. Made with quality ingredients!! Did you know they literally MAKE their own cheese?? And the cherry lime aid SO good.”

“5 stars for sure!!! We come into Stowe twice a year and always dine at Salute. We’ve never been disappointed. Mason is always accommodating to find seating for us as close as possible to our desired time. Jen is a wonderful server and we’re usually fortunate to get her. Then there’s the food. Wow! Best meatballs and mozzarella apps ever and from the linguini pomodoro to the chicken or veal marsala to the vodka rigatoni and saltimboca; all delicious. We love Stowe but dining at Salute is always the icing the cake!”
