“I have had the pleasure of dining here on a regular basis for the past two years. I have never had a negative experience. The food is excellent, prepared from fresh ingredients in plain view should I desire to watch as I wait. Vegetables are crisp and fresh. Winnie, the order taker is super nice, and you cannot want for better service. Their home-made sauces are spectacular. I order their hot mustard in small tubs to take home, and their brown sauce is excellent on vegetables and rice. It is always a delight to dine here.”

“Staff wonderful. It doubles as an art gallery as well, and lots of great locally made merch. No food to speak of, so don’t plan on eating lunch there. As for the beers, they were all excellent, especially loved the ginger flavored one. The young man told us it was made with fresh ginger. Easily accessible from the bike trail. Definitely recommend.”

“Today we had a delicious lunch at Two Sons Bakehouse in Hyde Park. The waitstaff was perfect; friendly and attentive. When our order arrived, one bite of the French Fries and I said- well the fries are great! After a few more bites, we were so glad we tried this place. The Smashed Burger and BLT were great. We took home treats for later: 2 lemon squares.Delicious! Before leaving I used the wash room-- clean and new. I give this place a solid 5 stars.”

“Nepalese Himalayan Food is Morrisville's best hidden secret! Tucked away in a corner of Riverbend Market gas station, (you'd never guess it's there), is some of the best Nepali food and fast!
I CRAVE their chicken curry! Love the samosas and I think their veggie noodle dish is just as good if not better than a Chinese food restaurant's.
The portion size is fantastic, I usually even have enough leftovers for lunch!
Highly, highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!”

“Everything on the menu is fantastic, highlighted by local, quality ingredients and house made sauces and beer cheese. Speaking of beer, theirs are brewed on premises and the brewers' attention to quality and flavor shine though everything. Kids (and adults like me) will have fun in the mini arcade downstairs. When the weather cooperates thier outdoor space is great as well. If you get the chance enjoy a ski movie screening next to a roaring fire while the snow drifts down around you. Have a spicy margarita with house-infused tequila to keep warm!”

“Best part of our trip to Smuggler's Notch. The cocktails were inventive, using locally sourced items (shout out to the mermaid dust rim on my cocktail!) The food was cooked perfectly and we tried a little bit of everything on the menu. The filet mignon and the arancini were especially good. The coloring contest for kids was great and kept my kid busy working hard. Great ambiance with the gas fireplace downstairs. Loved it.”

I was shocked and disappointed to see that a Starbucks is being set up right across from this in the center of Main Street Stowe. one of the great things about Stowe is all the local businesses. I'm surprised Starbucks was even allowed. hopefully people continue to buy from the local coffee roasters here instead”

“Everything was great. Above all, CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! It’s definitely modernized and well kept. We were in the main building. The pool looked wonderful though we didn’t have a chance to use it. Free breakfast each morning off choices made for us, not a buffet. King bed was very comfortable and chair and footrest next to the bed also great. Television had more channels than I can remember on a hotel television. The location is on the main road that goes into the shopping/dining district but a few miles away so it’s quiet. The beginning of the famed Recreation Trail is a very short walk from the hotel. The Wi-Fi was the best of three places we stayed on this trip. Shannon, the proprietor is terrific. I’ll definitely come back here. Parking is free and close to the building entrance.”

“Friendly, happy servers who are great with kids. Picked up my kid and showed him around the restaurant. Salad and venison chili were great. Mac and cheese was solid. Raclette isn’t for everyone and I thought the raclette with baguette would be a sandwich.”

“Good chili at an insane price. What can you do, though, at a ski resort. The chili is found in the cafeteria-like area, not the sit down restaurant. You can't use the 20% epic food discount at the sit down resto, by the way. Lots of cubbies and storage space to place backpacks, shoes, etc. More places to hang things and picnic tables at lower level. Very convenient. As one would expect it gets absurdly crowded between 11-1, so expect to have to hover for a place to sit.”

“07/29/2025. After 31 years at Smugglers notch we final dined at the pizzeria. A ultimate veggie pie, a plain cheese pie, 2 different smash burgers, wings and various beers. Everyone loved it. We were 6 adults, 7 kids. Staff was knowledgeable of the menu and very nice. Food came in very appropriate amt of time. We will definitely use them again. Prices were appropriate too.”

Rochelle is an absolute dream of a person and we're always so grateful for how kind she is to our son that is autistic. She goes out of her way to make us feel seen and heard and is so accommodating with him. It's a beautiful, beautiful thing to see and she is one of those unicorns.”
