“I’ve been to a few other breakfast places in the area but I think Little Rooster Cafe’ is my current favorite. The food was great, the prices weren’t bad, and they got me in and out efficiently. My only complaint was they sat me in a weird spot at the counter where I had figurines and other things in my way but other than that I had a great experience.“
“Pasting my copy from over on Yelp. TL; DR it's freaking amazing and delicious and awesome but we had a couple that were hardcore making out down the bar from us and it was killing the vibe. This spot has been on my to-try list forever. A few months ago I was invited to lunch with a winemaker here and that experience was exceptional (but not what everyone is going to experience) so I bumped it up higher on the list. They are open on Monday nights and for a short time I was working in hospitality and living in a town where NADA is open on Monday nights so Kris and I headed up route 7 to try this. I'm so glad we did.We didn't have a reservation but were able to get seated at the bar instantly. The staff was great and quick and fun, kind of picking up on the vibe of the guests and being more or less chatty depending. The lighting is gorgeous and the space has got a great, elegant but casual vibe. You can tell tremendous care is taken with their food and beverage program. We started with a cocktail before each enjoying a pasta dish with wine. I had to get their house-made pistachio icecream to finish because I never say no to pistachio icecream.Right-priced and just an excellent choice. Deducted one star because there was a couple sitting down the bar from us that was MAKING OUT. I'm not talking a little affection on date night. I'm talking foreplay. I get that the customer is always right but as a diner, on the short side of an L-shaped bar, I couldn't help but see it and I personally think they should have been asked to stop. Sometimes you have to let peole know their behavior isn't a good fit. Yes, it's dimly lit and romantic but no one wants to watch people licking each others molars.Looking forward to going back and will continue to even if people are making out every time.“
“Stumbled on this cafe by chance and was so wonderfully surprised! The food was incredible! The eclectic atmosphere was a joy and the staff a pleasure to interact with. If you are in Manchester, VT, most definitely stop by and enjoy a most delicious meal!“
“We worked with the Dorset Bakery on our wedding dessert selection. Dorset Bakery was a huge help to us in selecting the right number and variety of dessert for our wedding. The desserts were delicious and a huge hit for our guests. We loved all the fall flavors we selected from pumpkin cheesecake to apple pie! They were so beautiful as well and looked great on our dessert table.“
“Easily the best breakfast placei have ever been to. Staff was very friendly and helpful the place was dog friendly and the atmosphere was so cute! Best tasting burritos and strawberry Banana muffin. You absolutely have to come here you won't regret it.“
“This place is absolutely amazing! The service, food and atmosphere are all 5 stars, I would give more if I could. The lady that cooked my food was VERY careful with my severe dairy allergy. She was very serious and took every precaution possible. I HIGHLY recommend going to this restaurant if you have any dairy allergies or other allergies alike. They have vegan options for breakfast as well and the coffee is excellent. I cannot give enough praises to this cafe, please take a visit when you are in town and you will not regret it. I also had the salmon with garden salad the day before and the salad was the freshest I had ever had from any restaurant. The ingredients are impeccable. Thank you for being so accommodating and helpful. I recommend the breakfast BLT and the garden salad as well as the French toast latte.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options, dairy free friendly, helpful with allergens.“
“Turkish cuisine in Manchester Center? Who knew? The Kofte was flavorful with light spices but dry and overcooked. The Guvec Stew was terrific as was the Baklava. We had to ask for bread. Wood oven baked it was sensational--but there was nothing to dip it in. Service was adequate. Surrounded by household items was sale was a new experience. We'll go again.“
