“Stopped in while traveling through, and boy was this a fabulous surprise! Delicious food (we got the burritos), great prices, and a welcoming hometown feel. Wish we had room to sample the desserts-- they looked wonderful!
Vegetarian options: Pleasantly surprised by the amount of offerings with non-meat proteins“
“This is such a cool culinary program. It is great to see students learning and experiencing how to work in the restaurant industry. The food is always creative, love how they use local products, and you can see the students in action in the kitchen as well. I recommend making a reservation as they are only open for lunch during the school year.“
“Delicious meal, as always! Blackened salmon & steak were great….corn chowder yummy….salad with blue cheese crumbles the best! Marian does a wonderful job!“

“We had some great Starbucks coffees and avocado toasts. The maple pull apart were to die for. We should have gotten 2 orders per person. The girls helping us were very friendly and did a great job.We also were able to pick up some touristy souvenirs and some maple taffy.Ad they are also a general store they do have a selection of groceries and staple goods as well as a full fledged gift shop upstairs. And don’t forget about Carmine’s ice cream shop located at the same location. The Freighthouse market and cafe is well worth a visit when in Lyndonville.
Vegetarian options: The avocado toast and maple pull aparts are vegetarian at least if not vegan they had hash browns and other pastries as well
Parking: At least 25 parking spaces available also on street parking is ample throughout town“

“Just a heads-up for anyone looking through the photos — the former Kingdom Table (the upstairs windowed restaurant) is now closed, and they are only operating the Kingdom Taproom in the lower level (more of a bar/lounge atmosphere).
I have tried the Taproom's new taco-centric menu a few times. The food is pretty good, although it does feel a step down compared to the variety and refined presentation of the previous menus. I look forward to seeing how they continue to develop the concept and I hope they consider re-introducing some versions of old favorites (chilaquiles/poutine mash-up anyone?). I really appreciate how much they lean on our wonderful local producers.
They continue have great beers and cocktails, and one of the most creative and friendly bartenders ever — be sure to try the Maple Leaf cocktail that she invented. It's one of my favorite drinks I've ever had anywhere! (I just wish I'd caught her name so I could acknowledge her properly.)
The ambiance there is nice and cozy, especially for a nightcap after a night out, or a glass of whisky on a cold winter night. Brings me back to some of the very hip, very dimly lit bars I used to frequent once upon a time in Chicago. :)
Be sure to come catch one of their events like trivia or karaoke night. (Haven't caught any karaoke yet, but the trivia is fun! I won a shirt once!) Very grateful to have these folks in the area and will definitely continue to come back.
Parking: There are plenty of free street parking spots directly in front of the restaurant on Railroad Street, and more going up the hill around the corner.“
