“Always creative & yummy! Today, we had an amazing crab cake to start. It was so good we couldn't wait so we failed to take a picture. My partner had a carne asada taco & a fish taco. The carne was his favorite! I had the Waldorf Salad - always excellent. We'll be back soon!“

“First time in St. Albans, VT. for the Vermont Maple Festival, and at the opening ceremonies they mentioned several local restaurants were participating in a maple taste contest. We heard them say the Maple City Diner, and went for lunch. Everything was exceptional including the service. We had the Maple City Burger with maple and the Maple Cream pie. We gave both items a perfect score on the festival grade card. Wonderful place. Great big parking lot, and a wheel chair ramp right to the front door.“

“Was rated probably 4.5 stars for other food. Got a pizza but seemed like premade dough frozen. Still tasty better than pie in the sky so I'm grateful for the quick drive. Won't get pizza again but will try other foods because I am a local supporter and will give a second chance always.“

“Try the Not your Mama 'meatloaf! Came with selection of 2 sides, so it was delicious roasted brussel sprouts and salad for me. Sharing the best maple crème brûlée added a layer of greatness. If one is open to drinks while waiting and inclined to Maker's Mark, then the Maple Thyme would be a good choice.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of GF options.“

“Very good meal (scalops, lobster ravioli) and a perfect service. The Barkeeper told us the story of this nice place. Unfortunately was it our last day in the states before the flight home to Germany. Thanks to Josh and his team, it was great!“

“This is an easy, roadside, casual restaurant. Parking is right there. The service is quite good. Menu is varied. Breakfasts looked good, and the food was plentiful. They had lots of sandwiches, including those children love - grilled cheese, chicken fingers, etc. fries were real. They looked fabulous. I had a salad that was ok. The burgers looked quite good. -and chips were plentiful. 5 entries for five people and we had plenty of leftovers.“
“Great food and great service. The only downside is that I’m always so full from the apps and entree that I can’t fit any of the great sounding desserts in my stomach! I’m not much of a bbq rib/ brisket person, but Mill River may have changed my tune!“

“Got the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly for both of us. Turkey Gravy I got for the fries was excellent, Which leaves me to believe their hot turkey must also be very good. Only issue is its a small place so gets loud fast if a lot of people. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would stop by again on way threw in future. Pay attention to hours of operation.“
