“Wow. Not sure how we've been coming here for years and somehow missed this place. It's a cool place. Has character. Fern was our waitress and was very nice. The salad was... perfect. Just the right amount to split (large), not super fancy, just a great garden salad. It was dressed lightly (really appreciated!). My wife and I split a burger and a chicken sandwich and both were excellent. The portions were very good, filling but not ridiculously large as seems to be the trend in some other places. The fries... not sure how to call the style.. thinly cut, perfectly fried... you'll be fighting over the last one!”

“When I tell you that these waffles are are huge factor in me coming back to Sugarbush every single year, I'm not kidding. I once ordered two of them just for myself and double fisted them. Cannot stress enough that everyone will love these: kids, adults, anyone with taste buds. Best waffles ever.

“I came here with my family today as we are in the area for a wedding, visiting for the weekend (you don’t need to be a golf member to eat here!) the food was INCREDIBLE! We got the pulled pork sandwich, the bbq maple wings, and the smash burger (best burger I’ve ever had - and I’ve had a lot!) the service was great, our waitress was so very friendly and welcoming, and gave us directions and info on the local farmers market. The view from inside was beautiful, big open windows over looking the golf course. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be back!”

“We first started coming to Waitsfield in 1987 or so. I don’t remember when we first started coming to Chez Henri, but it was a long time ago.

A few things have changed. They’ve reduced the size of the dining room because of being short staffed and the bread being warmed by the fire, along with fireside seating is gone. But the overall character is unchanged.

The food was excellent. The fondue is always so much fun. The mussels were excellent and our mains were perfectly prepared.

My favorite has always been the crème brûlée. The texture is perfect. It’s home made all the way.

We will always be back for more.”

The ricotta gnocchi was the best meal I’ve had in quite some time. And the vibe was so cool - antique/Scandi/bohemian? I’m going tomorrow night and making sure I save room for dessert.”

“I've tried their latte, maple matcha, and their donuts. My most recent visit was my first time trying the donut.... the hype is real. Holy wow. The line can be long during peak coffee hours, but it moves quite efficiently, so don't be deterred.”

“Great place to stop in after a day of traveling, hiking or have a wedding. Really enjoyed the BBQ they had, it was a first, but I am told they are going to do more! Not too smoky just right! Really great game area with cornhole and mini golf Drinks were amazing as well! Had a nice selection of whiskey bourbon with local beers! Shoutout to Jenny aka JBlock! And Staff! “I was in town for a wedding with my aunt and uncle this past weekend and because my uncle is in a wheelchair and unable to stand we had trouble finding a place to eat on Friday night. We arrived into town around 7:30 and after a few attempts to find somewhere with wheelchair accessibly a patron at another establishment recommended Nelly’s. By this time is was now closer to 8 pm we pulled up to an empty parking lot and were greeted by the owner who said come on in.
Once we were seated a very friendly waitress took our orders and within mins our delicious meals . The waitress was so helpful in solving another issue that I was worried about for the following day. Again the owner came over and sold us on their very yummy desserts and both helped us out to the car. This is definitely a don’t judge a book by its cover situation.”

The space itself is spacey inside and out. Very nice! The beers speak for themselves. We ordered 2 scripted flights, so I had some new beers and some familiar liquids. I wish I could have samples a few more. They also have wines and ciders if beer isn't your speed.”

“Best little general store in Vermont. Our mobile veterinary practice stops there at least two times a week. We are always met with smiles and kind greetings, topped off by great food and anything else we might need! (Today we needed fix a flat!). We leave full and content knowing there is such goodness in the world!”

“Decent Chinese food. Very large portions. Each dish is enough for 2. The Szechuan chicken was solid but not spicy at all. I thought the beef lo mein and egg rolls were solid. Service was quick. They are takeout only”
