“I don't know why there are lower reviews here. I grew up in Bellevue and have been coming to this restaurant for maybe 20 years now. The food is really good, it tastes authentic. And, the prices are really reasonable for Bellevue. I like this place a lot.“

“Scrumptious food! Fresh ingredients, well prepared without too much oil. They were super busy when I arrived, and my food was still prepared quickly. Everything is Halal, so you know that the animals were treated humanely. There are also vegan options. Everything was divine, I was happily surprised to find a new twist on some of my favorites. “I'm mad my friend didn't show me this spot earlier!!! For starters, we had the mezze platter. It came with dolmas (so good!! Perfect marriage of rice and spices!), tzatziki (so fresh! The mint...yum!!), baba ganoush (with a smokey hint), hummus (so fresh!!), tabouli (best ive had in a long time! It was not overwhelming with parsley... super enjoyable. So good we got orders to go!), and the piyaz (a chilled white bean salad with ginger root, onion, tomato, EVOO, and garlic...so good we got orders to go!). Entrees we had the mesopotamian lamb and beef (the stew was so comforting..like a hug. The lamb was so tender!), and the lamb chops (love the rosemary and garlic!) For dessert...freshhhhh baklava, freshest ive had. It had just been made. It was so perfect! It's not so heavy compared to the normal baklava with honey that Im used too. Looks like I have a new favorite Mediterranean spot to go to!!! The staff was great. The food was amazing.“

“The owner is incredibly personable and is very involved with his restaurant. His staff is very attentive and have excellent customer service skills. I chose a faster made food, the Chicken Kabob (recommended by the owner) and there was nothing that made it feel rushed or made cheap even though the price was amazing for the amount of food that came about 10 mins after ordering. BEST DARN KABOB I'VE EVER HAD IN SEATTLE. I'm sad I didn't try this place out when I lived in the neighborhood 10 yrs ago. I'd be a lot fatter by now...“

“Absolutely impeccable food. I’ve had SO many gyros from so many different places and it was literally the best I’ve ever had. The hummus, the chicken, the beef + lamb, fries, rice, sauce— EVERYTHING was so good! And it’s close to home!! Will be stopping in again soon.

“The food is delicious . Everything is made with pride . It’s all fresh and made in house . Since it’s fresh and made to order , you will have to wait . It is worth it . I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“

“I've been coming to Gyros Place regularly and it's become one of my favorite lunch spots. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The gyros are always packed with quality ingredients, and everything I've tried has been great.

What really keeps me coming back is the consistency and friendly service. The staff is welcoming, orders come out quickly, and it's clear they care about their customers. Having Gyros Place right in my building is a huge bonus, but I'd go out of my way to eat here even if it wasn't.

If you're looking for a reliable spot for a great meal, I highly recommend giving Gyros Place a try.“

“09.06 The food here is divine! We split a lamb sandwich and a plate of cauliflower with tahini sauce. Just wow! The chef packed so much unexpected flavor into these dishes. We will be back. 09.09 We came back for more! So good.“

“Arrived a few minutes before they opened at 11. They had a window open so I could check out the menu beforehand. Discovered they also serve a whole menu of organic juices! They saw me looking at the menu and invited me in to order early. Service was quick and kind. Prices were perfectly average. Dining room is small but offers a surprising amount of seating while not feeling cramped. I ordered a chicken shawarma plate, a 12oz specialty juice blend and a baklava for $35, which includes tax and 20% tip. Portion sizes were generous, preparation was perfect, ingredients were fresh and well seasoned. Bonus points for pita that didn't taste mass produced. Don't sleep on the juice bar! My Sherbet (apple, orange, and grapefruit I think?) was a banger. Not a single mediocre thing on my order. I will absolutely be coming back here.“

“What a perfect grub session! Got some falafels,baba ghanoush, and Greek fries and it all rocked. My only complaint and the only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars for atmosphere is because it was hot as Hades in there. “Well….. there’s a reason this place gets talked about a lot and it’s not just that you cannot reserve a table so its basically you and luck if its no wait or a full 45min. We got lucky and got a table immediately. Now service for the most part was great, but I am going to immediately dock a point because a plate was set on my phone, without even asking if I could move it and also yes there was plenty of space on the table. I didn’t ask for a side of attitude with my food.

Lets talk food, there is some serious magic happening with every single plat they served especially the vegetables, but even the dips which we got the trio of was so very good, we got the hummus, labneh and another that was infused with beets all three were incredible and we knew to order the extra order of bread. The vegetables were grilled onion (was actually difficult to eat as they were very slippery) but the flavor was on point, the asparagus which was so incredibly good and kohlrabi that was my husband’s absolute favorite. For our larger plates we ordered the chicken which was cooked perfectly (absolutely order garlic spread to go with this) and the Lamb, the cook on this was excellent, though we preferred the lamb leg to the kebab.

Worth the trip my friends, also check out your soft serve flavor which continuously change (or go to their sister location a few steps away if your more traditional and want a chocolate swirl)“
