“Excellent service from Elizabeth! She was so friendly and attentive! I ordered brisket with mac & cheese and potato salad and my friend ordered the bacon & blues burger with a brisket add on and talk about mouth watering! We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! Don’t skip out on the banana pudding and a big thank you to management and the cooks who help keep the place running smooth!“

“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)“

Amazing customer service, with food that was so flavorful that just the aromas has me salivating. I had the Smoked Salmon Dip with Citrus Au Jus, while my husband had the Caveman Half Chicken meal, with potato salad and baked beans. Their beans? ABSOLUTE. PERFECTION. “ABSOLUTELY INSANE! This crust a soft with a little crunch to it, the flavor is authentic, the sauce is flavorful and rich, and the toppings are ALWAYS fresh! I have been to this spot 3 times now and every, single, time, they have gone above and beyond to assist me as best as possible! You can tell they really do put effort into their work. “The three of us had a very tasty and relaxed lunch. Between us we had brisket, polish sausage, fries and I had a side of potato salad. Everything was yummy 😋 even my potato salad. I am not normally one for potato salad but this was nice. The polish sausage had a perfect flavor profile. Distinct herbs and spices with just a hint of heat. “I’ve coming here for many years since their grand opening. Lots of things changed as far as their menu goes, and interior is somewhat outdated, but one thing never changed is their service level. They are all very friendly and attentive at all times. I’m Korean and I’ve eating k-bbq my entire life. Meat quality is not the greatest, but with their current ayce price point, it’s more than fair. We drive 30 miles from north end just to eat here even though their Bellevue location is right next to us. To make our trip worth, we go to daebak wang Mando and little bakery located inside Hmart afterward every time. This location is my favorite spot in entire Washington state.“

Our kids aren’t into kbbq but they were still satisfied with some other options such as beef brisket ramen, fries, Yakitori and the soft serve ice cream. The AYCE is $50 on weekends, but well worth it. Quality of meats is good and the banchan hits everytime. Only mishap during our dining experience was having to ask for our kids ramen 3 times as it seemed like our waitress forgot.
