I ordered #7 this time and thought it would be the same as the #5 I had on my previous visit. When I asked the owner about it, he kindly explained the difference. To my surprise, he even gave us an extra bowl of beef, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)“

“I am a huge pho connoisseur and been to many spots around the great Seattle area (mostly south in federal way, Kent, Renton) and this is my new favorite spot. Service is always great, clean and modern interior, and the pho is 🔥🔥. Price is fair compared to other spots, and if you come with friends and family they have a variety of other options like phad thai and teriyaki. Highly recommend if you are in the kent-east hill area!!

“After a long 16 hour drive this place hit the spot. We had a three pigs omelette plate and an eggs Benedict. Portions are solid for the price and while clean quality packs tons of flavor. Loved the no grease yet airy hash brown and how it paired with the almost floating eggs that popped off. It opens quite early and while it's only open for brunch if I'm awake I'm showing up to the door early over any normal 24/7 diner place so far in the area.“

“I ordered food Appethaizing Thaih through uber eats. When the food arrived, we saw we only got our appetizers. I tried to contact the Uber driver in vain. So then I called the restaurant and was told the driver had only gotten one bag of food. The restaurant called the driver as soon as they realized he'd only picked up a portion of the order, but the driver's response was a noncommittal 'okay'. They hung up and we hoped the uber driver would return to the restaurant. I then got a call back from the restaurant. The uber driver never came back, so the owner himself drove the food out to our home. WOW. The food was also so delicious!!! Thank you, thank you! We so appreciate our local restaurants!!!“

Dessert was orange dreamsicle cheesecake and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Pizza was better than any other pizza we've had. I didn’t order the combos on purpose but who knew the Japanese food and Chinese food complimented each other very well. Talking about a great service, my wife order the sesame balls for a dessert. 2 of 5 were a bit under cooked somehow. We broke them a part but didn’t eat them. One other staffs walked by and asked if we didn’t like. My wife told her those 2 seemed like they are not full cooked so we didn’t want to eat them but we are okayed. She then insisted that she asked the chef to make a fresh batch of 5 for us. This time they were perfectly cooked. I was impressed with her and felt very appreciative. I recommend this place if you like delicious food and something quick.“

“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!“

“When I first moved to the neighborhood, this was the very first place my awesome neighbors recommended… and I’m so glad they did! The food is delicious, the service friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and unpretentious.
It has become the place my family looks forward to eating when they visit, and where my partner and I go when we need a little treat (or order takeout from when we need a little comfort).

My personal favorite is the Rama Noodles, because the pan-fried noodles are perfectly tender and chewy with exceptional flavor, and the peanut sauce… I mean, I would honestly lick the plate afterwards if I had only slightly less dignity!

That said, everything we’ve ordered from there has been top-tier. Highly recommend!“

“Came here post work out and I was impressed. I asked whether the torta was big and was rold no but it came with alot of meat and she wasnt lying. The torta was delicious the beans weren't refried which I appreciated. And it came with fresh sliced avocado it looked dlike I got half of one medium avocado.
My husband had yhe tacos and while he said the flavor was good the meat was a little dry. But the salsa made up for it. The hirchata was also delicious. It had the authentic powder remnants at the bottom only real home made horchata has. Will definitely visit again.“
