“The ambiance was delightful, and the staff were friendly. The pastries, especially the custard bun and breads, were fresh and enjoyable. However, it's important to mention that the overall experience leans towards the expensive side. While the pastries are delightful, their slightly higher cost might be a factor to consider, particularly for those on a budget.“

“Call me old fashioned, but I thought this was just another bakery. They have many unique items. I really like the pastry items which offered a treat at a better than the cost of a meal, when you are not hungry but would like a treat to eat. Would recommend a visit when in a mood to try something new. Only wish the coffee lines were not so long....“

“After sampling a dozen bakeries for wedding cake options, there was one that clearly stood out from the pack - Cakes by Creme de la Creme. It was perfect. We have been back every month since and are never disappointed. All-star customer service and products.“

“Exquisite. Having spent time in the south of France and in Paris I can tell you without a doubt her croissants are equivalent with the Best.
I first met the owner during the pandemic and it was challenging because it was hard to get workers during that period and this is a new business and a very chic little corner shop on Mercer Island. But to see the Joy on the owners face as she prepared the croissants you knew she’d love what she’s doing. She’s been trained by the Best. I believe she said France And it shows. She’s not only an incredible patisserie chef but she’s also an artist because the designs like the Matcha croissant is amazing. It’s Art don’t hesitate. I also like the sandwiches of course you have to get them when they’re incredibly fresh, but I like a good pate sandwich. I haven’t had one since Paris with a fresh banquette.“

“Some of the best breads and croissants in Seattle. My favorites are pistachio snails croissants and kumquat danish, when in season; filone and walnut levain breads are outstanding.“

“Amazing dessert place! Reasonable pricing, not to sweet and delicious deserts. Every time we are in Seattle we come here because it’s awesome. The owner and his family make everything in the back handmade with original recipes and they are very kind. He told us he has been there for 34 years!“

“I got a 12 oz latte and a salmon crepe.
I was somewhat disappointed with the latte. It was rather bitter and while the mug might have been a 12 oz one, it was rather far from being filled. I think more milk would have helped on both fronts.
The crepe itself was pretty good. There was a decent amount of salmon in it. However, the tomato chunks were so big and numerous, that they overwhelmed the taste, made the crepe a bit soggy, and also rapidly cooled it down. The plate could have also been bigger - the food barely fit on it, so eating was a bit annoying.
Service was very friendly and quick with the orders. Great job!
The café itself was spacious and pretty quiet with no TVs, which is great. There's also plenty of space between the tables, so it should be easy to navigate with a wheelchair. It could use a bit of renovation, though. The wide open space where you can see and hear everything happening in the kitchen makes it uncozy. The vibe is closer to a student cafeteria, than a quiet café.
Considering the above, the price/quality ratio could be better in my opinion.
Parking: There's plenty of free parking spaces in the library parking across the street.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance and the whole restaurant is flat with plenty of space between the tables.“

“As an avid cake lover, I have cherished memories of Hoffman's Fine Cakes and Pastries. Back in the day, every special occasion was celebrated with their delectable treats. From birthdays to anniversaries, their cakes were the centerpiece of our joyous moments. Now, living in a different country, I find myself reminiscing about those delightful flavors. The Princess Torte, with its layers of sponge cake, whipped cream, and marzipan, still dances on my taste buds. And who could forget the rich Chocolate Torte Cake or the delicate Lemon Chiffon Cake? Hoffman's commitment to quality shines through in every bite. Locally sourced ingredients, sustainably farmed whenever possible, ensure that their creations are nothing short of perfection. The staff's friendly service and the cozy ambiance added to the overall experience. If you're ever in Redmond, Washington, don't miss the chance to visit Hoffman's Fine Cakes and Pastries. Trust me—you won't be disappointed!“

“Nice atmosphere and decent quality pastries - although I bought a slice of mango cream cake and the cream was too dried out, and was not to the quality I used to get from them. Not sure it was the end of the day kind of issue or their quality is down — definitely overpriced. For $6 I expected a fresh cake not dried out one.
I got my cake in paper plates, sat outside to enjoy my cake. The staff closed without checking the outdoor tables. One was still full of their plates, silverware, and mugs. I knocked on the door to let them know, but they didn’t acknowledge it.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Taste of Venezuela in the Heart of Bellevue!
Daniela Solis Bakery is an absolute gem! The empanadas were delicious—crispy on the outside, perfectly filled on the inside, and full of authentic flavor. But the real surprise was the miloja—one bite and it felt like a flight back home. Truly nostalgic.
The music and atmosphere transported me straight to Venezuela, to Mérida—warm, inviting, and full of soul. Every detail feels intentional and heartfelt.
The host was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. Oh, and don’t leave without trying the gelatos—they’re amazing!
Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Venezuelan flavors and hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!“
